Baby fever was certainly a theme throughout the year, with stars from the film to music to the royal family all celebrating new additions. Pregnant stars had many ways to share the news, with some opting for social media reveals while others opted to keep private. Some kept fans updated with every step via their social, while others laid low.

Jennifer Lawrence was one of the talents who revealed she was expecting a child this year. The baby news first emerged in Sept. 2021. It will be her and art gallerist husband Cooke Maroney’s first child.

Travis has reportedly “been a rock” for Kylie through her pregnancy, with an insider telling HollywoodLife exclusively in Oct 2021, “Travis knows that Kylie has a lot on her plate and is handling everything like a boss even while she’s pregnant.”

“Although he’s always there for his daughter, he’s made sure to take an extra hand in caring for Stormi so Kylie can get as much rest as she needs.”

He is also taking an “active role” at doctor’s appointments and checkups. “He asks the doctors questions during the visits because he wants to be looped in through every step of this process,” the source explained. “He’s been a rock for Kylie and they can’t wait to bring another child into this world.” Another insider said Kylie “loves how attentive” Travis has been, saying he’s gone “above and beyond” for his family.

Katherine, the daughter of Maria Shriver and Arnold Schwarzenegger, opened up about motherhood while marking Lyla’s 1st birthday in August. In an Instagram, she shared, “About this time last year, I became a mama. What a magical year it’s been. I watch my little girl in awe as she grows and changes — moving from infant to baby to now the toddler phase!”

“But every instinct in my body wants to protect their privacy for the rest of their lives, as much as I can. I don’t want anyone to feel welcome into their existence. And I feel like that just starts with not including them in this part of my work.”

Emma was “excited” about her pregnancy. While she was expecting an insider told Us Weekly, “She looks great, she looks healthy, she’s glowing. She’s been keeping up with friends and work lately, she’s always staying active and gets her daily exercise in.”

Emma and Dave welcomed their child in late March. They tied the knot in Sept. 2020 after postponing because of the pandemic.

“I’m still nervous about the paparazzi bounty on her head,” Amanda admitted. “I will say I’m excited to not have to keep pretending not to be a mom. ’Cause, it’s like, my brain is just there.”

Amanda found herself on the public stage in 2007 after she was falsely convicted and later exonerated for the 2007 death of her roommate Meredith Kercher while studying abroad in Italy.
