We’re remembering the stars we’ve lost so far in 2026 here.

2026 has begun on a somber note in Hollywood. While 2025 ended with the deaths of several stars, including Rob and Michele Reiner, Diane Keaton, and Ozzy Osbourne, the new year has already brought more heartbreaking losses.

Among them is Catherine O’Hara, the Emmy-winning actress and comedy legend best known for her work on Schitt’s Creek, Home Alone, and SCTV, who died on January 30, 2026, at age 71. Tributes quickly poured in from across the entertainment industry, honoring her decades-long career and lasting impact on film and television.

Earlier in the year, tragedy also struck the family of Tommy Lee Jones. His daughter, Victoria Jones, was reportedly found dead on New Year’s Day, 2026. According to TMZ, first responders discovered her inside the Fairmont San Francisco Hotel shortly before 3 a.m. on January 1. She was 34.
