Alan walked down the aisle with his longtime partner Rima Horton, 68, in April of 2015. They had been living together since 1977 and they finally decided to tie-the-knot in a secret New York City ceremony. “We are married,” he said shortly after the ceremony. “Just recently. It was great, because no one was there. After the wedding in New York we walked across the Brooklyn Bridge and ate lunch.”
Alan truly seemed in love with Rima: “I think every relationship should be allowed to have its own rules. She’s tolerant,” he said. “She’s incredibly tolerant. Unbelievably tolerant. Possibly a candidate for sainthood.”
HollywoodLifers, our thoughts go out to Alan’s family, friends and his fans.
