Just incredible! LeBron James put on one of the performances of his career for the Cleveland Cavaliers playoff game 2 against the Toronto Raptors on May 19, and he broke Shaquille O’Neal’s playoff points record in the process too! Needless to say, his fans went wild on Twitter!
There’s just no stopping the L-Train when he’s in this kind of form! LeBron James, 31, showed why he’s one of the greatest talents to have ever played in the NBA with an amazing performance against the Toronto Raptors on May 19 at the Quicken Loans Arena. This was supposed to be a close-fought Eastern Conference Final, but LeBron made it look easy and even broke Shaquille O’Neal‘s playoff points record and that left fans purring!
LeBron overtook Shaq’s haul of 5250 points against the Raptors, moving into fourth-place in highest scoring players in NBA playoff history. He’s still some way of the top dog, Michael Jordan, who managed 5987 during his career, but it’s a staggering amount that shouldn’t be sniffed at.
LeBron’s record-breaking skills had social media buzzing, with scores of Cavs fans going wild for his achievement. In fact, you didn’t have to be a Cavs fan to understand the momentous plays he was pulling off.
Is it an wonder that LeBron has difficulty accepting that he’s been snubbed for MVP two-years in a row and has had to make way for golden-boy Stephen Curry in the popularity stakes. After all, his fans are completely behind him!

It’s hard to disagree with all the fans, they know what they are witnessing and it really is the work of a true great. The purists might love Steph, but LeBron is a force to be reckoned with and you can’t argue with the stats that show he’s one of the best.
