Audrey Rock

Senior Writer

Audrey Rock is a Senior Writer for HollywoodLife’s fast-paced Los Angeles newsroom. Though she began her career in print and television film criticism, she has now expanded her coverage to all aspects of celebrity life and culture, and loves nothing more than being in the middle of the action. Audrey is a graduate of the University of Utah and a founding member of the Utah Film Critic’s Association, and honed her skills at the Sundance Film Festival and by traveling to major studio press junkets. She’s been seen on the guest pages of Newsweek and worked as a film industry journalist at Showbiz Cheat Sheet. She moved to Los Angeles in 2015 and has worked as a red carpet reporter and editor since 2017, covering Hollywood’s most elite industry events. Her on-camera studio interviews have included icons Steve Martin, Paris Hilton, Robert Englund, Don Cheadle, and Matt Dillon, among others. At private red carpet events, she’s spent time with Richie Sambora, Annette Bening, Freddie Highmore, David Lynch, Alyssa Milano, Wanda Sykes, and many more. In her spare time, she volunteers with WriteGirl, a Los Angeles based nonprofit that matches professional writer mentors with young women who aspire to careers in writing. She’s a massive horror movie fan, and enjoys compulsive visits to Universal Studios and Disneyland with her pop-culture obsessed children.
