Death is no laughing matter unfortunately for some people it is — a point that those people like to drive home by falsely releasing info that would lead you to believe your favorite celeb has died. It seemed like the whole world stopped in its tracks when a Justin Bieber’s Death hoaxes hit Twitter on Jan. 8. However, Little Wayne’s death hoax was a little lack luster with hundreds of fans instantly claiming that the “Fireman” rapper could be anything but. Whatever the case — HollywoodLife.com has put together a little gallery containing a few of the weirdest celeb death hoaxes of the past year.
Justin Bieber Pronounced Dead But Still Kicking
“RIP Justin Bieber. No one should go that early,” is what many of the tweets read on Jan. 8. The tweets snowballed into a full-on confirmation that Justin had been killed tragically in a car crash. This fact obviously was immediately proven to be false but that didn’t stop the rumor mills from turning.
Lil Wayne: The Drink Has Not Done Him In Yet
There must be something about Lil’ Wayne that makes him so prone to the death hoaxes. Twitter and Facebook alike went crazy on Dec. 27, thinking that the rapper had died.
The 31-year-old rapper is alive and well. He had quite the year in 2013 — he survived about five death hoaxes!
