Despite fans’ disapproval of the Lifetime movie, Brittany Murphy‘s passing is still one of the most controversial Hollywood deaths ever. The young actress died in 2009. Her primary cause of death was pneumonia, with secondary factors of iron-deficiency anemia and multiple drug intoxication.
Hopefully, there were fans who enjoyed the film for what it was — a look back at the life of one of America’s sweethearts.
