Lil Wayne is telling his fans that he’s ‘good’ despite a report claiming he’s in an intensive care unit and possibly dying. Read on for all the details!
Lil Wayne (or someone using his Twitter account) is responding to a report claiming that he’s on his deathbed. A tweet posted on Lil Wayne’s account on March 15 at approximately 9:30 PM ET saying, “I’m good everybody. Thx for the prayers and love.” Could this all be a publicity stunt to sell his new album?
Mack Maine, who is on Lil Wayne’s Young Money label, first tried to ease fans’ minds when he tweeted on March 15, “Wayne is alive and well! We watching the Syracuse game…thanks for the prayers and concern..he will update you all soon. #love.” The tweet was then re-tweeted by Nicki Minaj.
TMZ broke the story on March 15, claiming that Lil Wayne was in the ICU in critical condition after suffering another seizure. Lil Wayne was reportedly placed in restraints because he was shaking uncontrollably, according to the site. He was “unstable,” according to TMZ, and was placed in a medically-induced coma, and required breathing assistance.
Coincidentally, Lil Wayne is reportedly dropping a new album on March 26. So could this have been a major publicity stunt to increase album sales? I Am Not a Human Being Part II’s track list was leaked on March 4 and Nicki Minaj is featured in one of the songs. Seeing as how she retweeted that Lil Wayne is fine, it’s possible that she was in on the alleged publicity stunt as well.

You really shouldn’t wish death upon someone. Especially, when that someone makes millions more dollars than you do because you were too stupid and talentless to make something of yourself like he did. If rapping was as easy and as idiotic as you make it out to be than we’d all be freakin millionaires selling our fifth album to the public. If you don’t like rap and hip-hop then don’t listen to it. Oh and by the way, he doesn’t write music anymore it comes straight from his brain and out of his mouth. Lets see how long you’d last in a rap battle where you had to go with a beat while spewing musical lyrics that made sense, rhymed, and flowed without interruption. And I’m not talking about “my cat sat on a mat in my flat” rhymes either. Lil Wayne, although guilty of having some songs that are ridiculously inappropriate and yes, I will agree, can be thought of as “retarded”, he has way more songs that are beautiful, true to heart, and when you really listen and get past the curse words, can be deep and intelligent. He’s clever and at times funny in his music. He most certainly doesn’t make millions and has the respect of Barack Obama for nothing. So while you’re getting fat because you waste your day eating at your computer screen trolling online in your filthy home, Wayne is livin it up with people you could only wish to see in dreams in his multimillion dollar home.
