In a word, 2020 has been intense. Between the coronavirus, a presidential election, and the loss of beloved stars and public servants, this year has been really tough. Through it all, though, some were able to find a bit of normalcy in the new and continued feuds of their favorite celebrities and high-profile figures. Because, even while the world is ending, celebs still have to beef. As 2020 finally wraps up, we’re taking a look back at the biggest feuds of the year!
Taylor Swift Vs. Kim Kardashian

Kim, however, had her own version to share. The SKIMS mogul took to Twitter the same day that Taylor posted on Instagram, sharing a series of tweets that further reiterated her and her husband’s stance on the issue. Kim explained that the full footage didn’t “change the narrative,” closing her tweets with, “This will be the last time I speak on this because honestly, nobody cares.” Taylor’s publicist, Tree Paine, even got involved in the reignited feud!
Megan Thee Stallion Vs. Tory Lanez

Tory was arrested in October and officially charged by Los Angeles prosecutors for shooting Megan back in July. His charges include one count of assault with a semiautomatic firearm and carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle. Megan rapped about the altercation in her song “Shots Fired” off of her new album Good News.
Isaiah Washington Vs. Katherine Heigl

“The world agreed with her proclamation back then and protested for my job and my head in 65 languages. I wish I was on Twitter in 2007 because I will NEVER stop exercising my free speech.” Yikes. There’s no telling what really prompted Isaiah to reignite the bad blood with his former co-star, but their feud dates back years.
Sacha Baron Cohen Vs. Rudy Giuliani

The scene showed Rudy in a rather compromising situation — seemingly laying on a hotel bed with the actress in the same room. What followed, once the movie hit Amazon, was the former mayor of New York City trying to explain the circumstances seen in the clip. Rudy claimed he didn’t do anything wrong and was “tucking in [his] shirt after taking off the recording equipment.” For his part, Sacha Baron Cohen kept up with his Borat persona, poking fun at Rudy. The actor also told Good Morning America, “I would say that if the president’s lawyer found what he did there ‘appropriate behavior,’ then heaven knows what he’s done with other female journalists in hotel rooms.”
Chelsea Handler Vs. 50 Cent

50, who could see that their spat was now hitting his “love life,” didn’t want politics to come between him and Chelsea. The rapper finally denounced the Commander in Chief just before Chelsea confessed that she might have rekindled their intimacy in order for him to change his views! “We had a nice conversation the other night for like 20 minutes, 25 minutes, and we talked about it, and you know he asked me if I was serious about promising him sex and I said, ‘Sure, why not? You know, I’m ready to have sex with people,’ ” she told Naomi Campbell.
Chrissy Teigen Vs. Alison Roman

Alison issued an apology to Chrissy, as well as Netflix sensation Marie Kondo, whom she also criticized, on May 11. “I need to formally apologize to Chrissy Teigen and Marie Kondo. I used their names disparagingly to try and distinguish myself, which I absolutely do not have an excuse for,” she wrote on Instagram.
Nicki Minaj Vs. Meek Mill

“You sad you willing to crash your man because you losing now and everybody in the industry know you a bad person,” Meek tweeted back at Nicki. “You picked a great time to be saying I ever put my hands on you… you full of hate and the whole industry know you full of hate… and ya bag getting low, so you wanna destroy me,” the rapper continued in a since-deleted tweet. The pair don’t appear to have reconciled.
