Shia LaBeouf is pretty much the king of publicity stunts, but would he really fake a wedding? Well, according to Clark County Nevada, Shia and Mia Goth aren’t legally married, so it’s very possible the actor duped us yet again. Find out more, here!
Shia LaBeouf may have appeared to marry his girlfriend, Mia Goth, on Monday, Oct. 10, but they reportedly have no marriage license, according to Clark County Nevada.
And this is very accurate. Online court records show that Shia and Mia have no marriage records on file at the Clark County Clerk’s office, where they were reportedly married earlier this week. Furthermore, there are no records available showing they got married in Los Angeles or Beverly Hills, California, either. (How bizarre!)
But before you start branding Shia and Mia as liars, it’s possible they secretly got married in Los Angeles and may have obtained a confidential marriage license, which would only be accessible to them.
As we previously told you, Shia and Mia appeared to get married in a surprise Vegas ceremony with an Elvis impersonator. In a video obtained by TMZ, Shia can be heard saying, “With this ring, I thee wed, with a prayer that our love grows stronger through the passing years … and I’ll do whatever you ask me to do.” It seemed romantic, but now it just appears to have been a publicity stunt. And as you’ll recall, Shia’s famous for them.
He previously wore a paper bag that read, “I am not famous anymore,” and he once watched all of his movies in a three-day marathon at a Manhattan theater last year.
