In a preview of this weekend’s episode, Kody and Meri’s tropical getaway turns sour as things get emotional. But what leads to the tears?
Sister Wives has recently documented Kody Brown and first wife Meri’s struggles to get pregnant, including Meri’s revelation of a heartbreaking miscarriage. In a new preview for this weekend’s episode, it appears this is still bringing the two some heartache.
Plus, the Browns search for a new place to live — but all does not go according to plan.
After a year of searching, the Browns thought they finally found four perfect homes right next to each other on the June 3 episodes of Sister Wives, but they remained concerned the housing deal could fall through. “We’ve had broken hearts before.” Kody Brown revealed in an emotional confession. “We have dealt with big heartbreaks in our lives and we have overcome all of it.”
Robyn, it was great to see you crack and be relatable for once. You’ve been such a non-stop cheerleader for being a sister wife, that it was a relief to hear you admit tonight that as the fourth wife, you have your limits and that Kody better NOT be interested in taking a fifth wife.
Kody Brown, you’ve got some mighty jealous wives. And why are we not surprised? No one man can possibly keep four different wives happy, no matter how much you tell us in your show Sister Wives that it’s your “calling” to marry multiple times. In any case, jealousy was definitely the theme of the episode May 27. Christine finally came clean that she was “sooo jealous” of Robyn after she became Kody’s fourth wife and she did it to Robyn’s face, at a confessional lunch.
Since Kody Brown took on a fourth wife, Robyn, his relationship with wife number three, Christine, took a turn for the worst. Do you think he made it up to her with his gifts?
Kody Brown hasn’t been the best husband to his third wife, Christine. In addition to essentially shoving her aside for his fourth wife, Robyn, he skipped both her birthday and her anniversary in the last year — and she wasn’t having it on the May 20 episode.
Kody, when you married wife No. 4 Robyn, it understandably sent Christine into fits of jealousy. But now you’re refusing to repair your relationship with Christine — and that’s irresponsible!
Kody Brown, it’s bad enough that you feel entitled to have multiple wives and 17 kids, featuring them all on your TLC show Sister Wives — which returned May 13 — but if you have taken on the responsibility of “marrying” and keeping four wives happy, you can’t blithely blow off the deep marital concerns of one of your wives, like you did to Christine on the season premiere.
Sure, we have to wait a few more weeks until the return of TLC’s Sister Wives, but here’s another very big family that’s definitely grabbing our attention. Meet the Dargers: a quartet consisting of Papa Joe, his twin wives and their cousin — plus the 24 children between them!
Vicki and Valerie Darger may look and dress the same, but they also have one more thing in common: Their husband, Joe. And oh, Joe’s also married to the twins’ cousin, Alina!
The Sister Wives FINALLY hit the Las Vegas strip and argue that Sin City is about sex NOT polygamy.
When Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn hit the Sin City strip for a stroll in this week’s Sister’s Wives episode, which airs Sunday, Nov 20, , they can’t help but flip out when they first start eyeing bikini-clad young women dancing on bars.
The Browns are out of their comfort zone when they take their four oldest children, Logan, Mariah, Madison and Aspyn, to Boston to tour college campuses and participate in a panel discussion with university students.
Nerves were at an all-time high for Kody Brown and family once they agreed to participate in a panel discussion in Boston, which they were invited to by Kody’s friend, Danielle Tumminio, a pastor and college professor. Kody made it clear while packing for Boston (and filling his suitcase with A LOT of socks!) that it was important that students in Boston “get to see that my children are not repressed” and that he is “not a misogynist.”
We think they’re crazy for wanting to be sister wives but the Brown family think we’re nuts for even asking why they don’t believe in brother/husbands. This episode, the Browns travel to Boston to face questions from college students in a religious studies class and they seem incredulous that the students don’t get why they…
When family friends Andy and Nicole visit from Utah, the Browns urge them to add another sister wife to their marriage. Are they freaked?
Kody Brown insisted a couple of episodes back to his hometown friends that he never tries to convert anyone to his religion. And that’s true. Andy and Nicole are members of his faith, BUT after six kids and a happy marriage they are torn by their church’s commitment to plural wives.
In the most shocking episode ever, Robyn says she will send her own three children away rather than consider leaving her “new” Brown family.
Were any of you as stunned as I was when Robyn made it clear that if the 13 other Brown children didn’t stop bullying her 3 kids, she would let them leave her and live with their biological father and not her.
In an emotional and disturbing preview for this week’s episode of Sister Wives, Robyn reveals that her three children are miserable in the Brown family.
The truth is finally coming out. Kody’s first three wives INSIST that they AREN’T jealous of Robyn for her shape because Kody PREFERS CURVY women!
Poor Robyn! Even she admits that “Kody told me in a nice way at one point that he actually likes curvy girls and I’m not really a curvy girl so it’s not like I have an upper hand with this whole situation.” Click to watch the video!
Kody visits his small hometown of Lovell, Wyoming with his four wives and faces off with his disapproving, accusatory high school classmates, in the series best episode yet.
I have to hand it to Kody Brown — he’s got gumption. Not only has he gone public and been run out of the state of Utah but now he deliberately set off to face-off with his former high school haters.
