

Big Ang will be missed by her fans but a special bond will never be forgotten by her former co-stars, Drita D’Avanzo and Brittany Fogarty. The stars of the hit VH1 show, Mob Wives stopped by HollywoodLife.com‘s podcast and told us that they are still reeling from the realization that their friend is no longer here.
Marissa Jade knows who her friends are and Drita D’Avanzo is not one of them. The gorgeous Mob Wives star tells HollywoodLife.com that she’s tired of Drita thinking she’s going to tell her who started the rumor about her ex-husband, Lee D’Avanzo and that it wasn’t just “one person” it was “several” of the women. But she’ll never give up one of her girls because she’s loyal to a fault.
The drama was out of control on the Mob Wives reunion show, but things were all brought into perspective when Big Ang showed up in the middle of her intense cancer treatment to reminisce with the rest of the cast. Just two weeks before her sad death, Ang filmed one last segment for the reality show and left fans and her friends with an important message.
Big Ang was larger than life, but even she knew she had to appreciate what time she had after she was diagnosed with cancer. After undergoing therapy to fight the disease, Ang promised to go big and live her life to the absolutely fullest!
Big Ang was remembered at the Basilica of Regina Pacis in Brooklyn, NY Feb. 22, with a gathering of her many friends and loved ones, as well as her Mob Wives costars Carla Facciolo, Renee Graziano and Drita D’avanzo who served as her pallbearers. The beautiful eulogy was written by her friends Diane Morton-Gattulo and Vinnie Medungo, which he presented during the service.
