Winter House premiered on Bravo in 2021 as a spinoff of Summer House. The show follows a group of friends on vacation at a shared rental home in wintery locations. The cast mostly features stars from other Bravo shows including Summer House, Southern Charm, Below Deck, Vanderpump Rules, Summer House: Martha’s Vineyard, and Family Karma. The first two seasons were shot in Stowe, Vermont, while the third season was filmed in Steamboat Springs, Colorado.
Season 3 of Winter House finished airing in December 2023, so fans have been waiting to hear news about season 4. However, the latest update isn’t a good one. Keep reading for everything you need to know about the future of Winter House.
Is Winter House Cancelled?
Winter House appears to be cooling off after three seasons. On February 13, a source told PEOPLE that production on the Bravo series is “on pause,” meaning season 4 won’t be coming as soon as fans wanted it to. Paige DeSorbo, who starred on the first two seasons of Winter House, claimed on her Instagram Story on February 12 that the show was “cancelled.” However, the PEOPLE source said that’s not true. “It’s definitely not cancelled,” the insider noted.
While Winter House is “on pause,” that doesn’t mean the show is gone for good. Take The Real Housewives of Miami for example, which went on hiatus after three seasons in 2013, and then returned better than ever in 2021.
Another Bravo show that’s in limbo right now is Family Karma. But Frances Berwick, chairman of NBCUniversal Entertainment, recently said he’d be open to reviving the series. “In my heart of hearts, I believe we will bring that back at some point,” Frances told Variety in November 2023. “You have to have patience. That show was so multi-generational — those people just were completely authentic.”
