We’ve never identified with these celebs more. While so many felt the pressure to lose weight or maintain their poundage during coronavirus quarantine, these stars opened up about putting on just a few lbs. It’s a totally unprecedented time, and we love that these celebs are using their platforms to let fans know that, if they gained a little weight while in quarantine, they’re not alone!

A number of stars have been working hard losing weight amid the pandemic. These stars have been active, taking bike rides with their kids like Jennifer Garner, and keeping up a regimen of healthy eating. But sometimes, especially during this difficult time for the nation, it’s more than ok to get into some comfort food and just take a break. So, let’s take a look at stars who have opened up about gaining some weight during quarantine!

Gayle King

Oprah Winfrey‘s BFF Gayle King, 65, is always known to keep it real with fans on CBS This Morning — and social media is no exception! The longtime television host took to Instagram to confess that she gained a few extra pounds in quarantine — nine to be exact. “CRISIS! The weight struggle is real!” she declared in a post, showing her toes on a scale showing she is currently at 172.2.

Gayle couldn’t help put poke fun at her toes, which desperately needed a pedicure. “Fatter than I’ve been in long time .. & scared to get a pedicure (big sigh) swipe left for the way we were,” she added, including several photos of her on a scale over the months. The other photos revealed her gradual weight gain from 159, to to 165, and 167 pounds. “Ideal weight says Dr is 163… not happening anytime soon .. blaming corona quarantine & Halloween candy corns I just bought ! Make it stop!” the journalist also wrote.

Cynthia Bailey

If there’s one thing we’ve learned from years of watching The Real Housewives Of Atlanta it’s that you shouldn’t come for a housewife if you cannot take the heat in return. Cynthia Bailey, 53, has been a mainstay on the show for years, and she’s always been so confident and sexy regardless of what size she is. But recently, she got into a scuffle with an Instagram follower over a recent pic.

In the snap, Cynthia looked flawless showing off her black two-piece outfit perfect for a dressed-up night. But one supposed fan told Cynthia, upon seeing the snap, that she should “lose weight.” Cynthia, however, was more than ready to dish right back at the follower. “[Mike Hill] ain’t complaining,” Cynthia responded, eluding to the fact that her fiancé loved Cynthia’s body as is. What a serve! But Cynthia has been very transparent about her weight loss while in quarantine.

Though she gained roughly 20 lbs. during isolation, the reality TV star shared EXCLUSIVELY with HollywoodLife how she shed the lbs. in time for her wedding next month! “When I returned back to Lake Bailey by myself, I was able to kind of manage my food a little bit better — because I didn’t have my family with me and honestly some days I didn’t even eat as much as before.” Regardless of what size she is, Cynthia always looks great!

Kandi Burruss

Like Cynthia, Kandi Burruss also opened up about her struggles with her weight since the onset of COVID-19. In an Instagram Story the RHOA star, 44, shared on September 16, Kandi set the record straight, revealing that she had gained 20 lbs. while in quarantine. “The beginning of COVID, I was working out and I was in shape. And even then I wanted to lose 10 pounds but I ended up getting lax and comfortable and I ended up gaining 20,” she shared with her fans.

But now, Kandi has some goals in mind to get her back to her ideal weight. “So that means I have have 30 pounds of which I would like to lose,” she revealed. “I just want to better myself overall. I just want to get used to making working out a regular routine.” Kandi revealed she’ll be working with her cousin, Patrick Dallas, to meet her next goal! We cannot wait to watch her progress.

While the Kardashian women are well-known for giving diet tips to their legions of followers, Kourtney Kardashian got very real about gaining weight while she was in quarantine and loving her body more for it! The mother-of-three, 41, is widely known to rock a hot two-piece and look so confident no matter what. But after a fan asked Kourt if she was pregnant in a May 13 Instagram snap, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star took her own agency and addressed fans directly.

“I commented back and said, ‘This is the shape of my body. I’ve definitely gained a few pounds over this quarantine time and I love my body and I’m proud of my shape,’” she said in Poosh video from May 20. “And I’m obviously posting it and this is the shape of my body. I don’t think I look pregnant at all. We’re all shaped differently and that’s my body and I’m proud of it. So that’s how I respond to the negative comments. It’s not always easy.” Now, Kourt is back to working out, as seen in her late June posts to Instagram!

Jennifer Garner

Jennifer Garner has never been one to be too shy about her health and wellness. After all, the Alias alum, 48, has an organic baby food line! Throughout quarantine, Jen has been very active. She’s gone on walks with her three kiddos, enjoyed a bike ride with her youngest, son Samuel, 8, and more! Of course, with some baking at her home, Jen wasn’t too shy about sharing that she had possibly gained the ‘COVID 19.’

Unfortunately, the way in which her honesty came about was when a fan took to the comment section of her Instagram account and asked the 13 Going On 30 actress “are you pregnant?” Jen took the invasive question in stride. She kindly told her Instagram follower, “I am 48, have three healthy kids, and am not — and never will be — pregnant. We can lay that pupper to rest.” Jen did get a bit playful with her response, telling the fan, “Have [SIC, I] gained the Covid 19? Possibly. But that is another story,” she added with a laughing/crying emoji, as well as emojis of a taco, slice of pizza, donut, chocolate bar and glass of wine!

Lili Reinhart

Lili Reinhart isn’t one to hold back, and she’s become so vulnerable and used her voice for major causes. But the actress, 24, also got real about her time in quarantine, and the fact that she may have changed a bit. During her August 18 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Lili told the eponymous host that she might have gained a bit of weight before heading back to filming Riverdale following their COVID-19 hiatus.

“We had two-and-a-half episodes left, so we stopped in the middle of an episode,” she explained. “So when we go back, we have to finish three days of one episode that we were filming in March. So we’re all going to be significantly tanner, maybe I’ve gained weight during quarantine, so I’ll look a little different. It’s like five months, it did make quite a difference, I feel like. It’ll be easy to tell what was in March and when we filmed in September.” But as always, Lili has been looking totally radiant, and even if she’s gained a pound or two, we cannot tell in the least!
