Pop star Ke$ha is NOT dead! Somehow, she became victim of an internet death hoax.
Phew! We can all breathe a collective sigh of relief — Ke$ha is NOT dead.
Death hoax rumors seem to start on Twitter — “#RIPKesha” started trending on the social networking site. Apparently, the trend was a way to promote her new hit single “Die Young.” Unfortunately, the promotional tactic morphed into speculation that Ke$ha died.
The singer was tweeting on Saturday Oct. 27, debunking the death speculation.
Now, Ke$ha joins Eddie Murphy and Bill Cosby as fellow death hoax victims.
Thankfully, Ke$ha is alive and well.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? How do these rumors start?
