From the cast literally looking into the camera and referencing their other jobs to side by side stills of ‘Full House,’ one thing the Netflix reboot gets right is the references to the original.
While the opening credits features multiple side-by-sides of the Fuller House cast then and now, the adults leave town and the three girls are left on their own — sort of. During the 13 episodes, there are multiple callbacks to those who watched every single episode ever of Full House — like me. So I’m here to give you the best part of the reboot: all the parts that referenced back to the show that we actually liked.

Fuller House will be released on Netflix tomorrow, Feb. 26, and just in time for its arrival, the show’s theme song has surfaced online. Carly Rae Jepsen sings the updated version of the Full House, and while it’s a bit different from the original, it’ll still make you feel like you’re at home with the Tanners.

We’re huge Full House fans, so we certainly remember watching the Tanner family’s trip to Hawaii during the series’ third season in 1989, but John Stamos just shared one of his personal home videos from that timeframe, and it shows him playing with Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen on set. Not only is it so insanely cute, but it only makes us more excited for the Feb. 26 debut of Fuller House on Netflix!
‘Fuller House’ has officially received a theme song — and it’s a cover of the original theme! So, who will sing it?
While the teaser that made us all cry for Fuller House featured Miranda Lambert‘s “House That Built Me,” we can now confirm that the original theme from the ’90s hit show will actually return for the Netflix spinoff that will focus on DJ, Kimmy and Stephanie, and their family. However, it won’t be the original version — and it’s by one our favorite singers!

We all know Full House, the series which ran from 1987-95, took place in San Francisco. Apparently, no one is more aware of that fact than the SF Giants, the city’s Major League Baseball team. In honor of, well, we’re not really sure what (but we’re not questioning it!), the guys got together to recreate the show’s theme song for their would be series, Full Club House, and it is honestly better than anything we’ve seen probably ever. Watch it now to fill your 90s-loving heart with joy.
