One of the most surprising splits of the year was between Jason Momoa and Lisa Bonet. Kicking off the year with a bang, the couple announced they were ‘parting ways‘ in Jan. 2022, 5 years after initially getting hitched. In an eloquent Instagram, Jason wrote that ‘love between us carries on’ and that their connection ‘evolving in ways it wishes to be known and lived.’

News things were amiss emerged in late summer after the football player returned to the field after his supposed retirement, something his model wife was not down with. Gisele, who shares two kids with Tom, filed for divorce in late Oct. 2022 and seems to be thriving. While Tom’s game’s been looking a little rough, his ex is more glowing than ever.

Ines de Ramon & Paul Wesley — Ines de Ramon and Paul Wesley announced that they had split “months earlier” in Sep. 2022. The couple wed in 2019. Not long after news of their divorce, Ines was spotted with Brad Pitt.

Mike Hill & Cynthia Bailey — Mike Hill and Cynthia Bailey threw in the towel on their marriage in Oct. 2022 after two years as man and wife. The RHOA star and news anchor announced their split in a very amicable-sounding statement.

It said, “LOVE is a beautiful thing. While we both will always have love for one another, we have decided to go our separate ways. We are grateful that we remain good friends, and will always cherish the many memories we’ve shared together as husband and wife.

Tyler Stanaland & Brittany Snow — Tyler Stanaland and Brittany Snow announced they were divorcing in Sep. 2022. They were married for two years.

Tyler released a statement which Brittany then reshared. It said, “After time and consideration, Britt and I have made the difficult decision to separate. This decision was made with love and mutual respect for one another. We have realized we need to take some time and make sure we are each living our most fulfilling and authentic lives.”

It went on to add that their “relationship will continue to be a priority not only for us but for our dog Charlie,” and asked, “for privacy as we navigate this new chapter.”

She captioned a sweet black and white photo of them, and wrote, “I have always been honest with my fans, and today is no different. I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways.”

“These decisions are never easy, and not without sadness,” the Sister, Sister star continued. We will maintain a friendship as we co-parent our beautiful children.
