After verbally attacking Sasha and Malia Obama for being ‘classless’ teenagers, Obama fans were disgraced by the GOP staffer and demanded she be fired. Here’s what people are saying.
Elizabeth Lauten may have apologized for her harsh words directed at Sasha, 13, and Malia Obama, 16, during President Obama‘s Thanksgiving press conference, but the damage was done. Obama fans took their opinions to Twitter calling Elizabeth “shameful”, “a fool” and “a terrible person”. It seems like fans will not rest until she is fired from her job as communications director for Rep. Stephen Fincher for good.
Elizabeth Lauten’s Diss Reaction: Obama Fans Want Her Fired
Elizabeth attacked everything from Sasha and Malia’s outfits, to saying the girls don’t have good role models because their mother and father “don’t respect their positions.” Here’s how fans reacted:
Your misdirected anger at Obama to two teenage girls was shameful.#ElizabethLauten should be canned!

Dear #ElizabethLauten, Insulting teenagers in an open letter to score points against their father pretty much makes you a terrible person.

Sasha & Malia Obama’s Facebook Attack: Elizabeth Lauten Apologizes
Elizabeth took to her Facebook to issue a public apology to the President’s daughters, but it seems like her apology only made things worse. (See her full apology here.)
In the apology, she wrote that she did “many hours of prayer” to realize her “hurtful” words. She also shockingly claimed that her initial reaction stemmed from an article she read about the conference, not even seeing the press conference in full before she took her insulting opinions public.
Elizabeth said that she will “pledge to learn and grow from this experience,” but clearly people don’t even think she deserves that.
What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers? Do you think Elizabeth should be fired for slamming Sasha and Malia? Tell us your thoughts below.
