The Kardashian-Jenner clan have had multiple public clashes over the years. Since their reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians debuted in 2007, the mega-famous family came to define much of the 2010s, and delivered some of the biggest headline-grabbing moments of the decade. Who could forget the time Kanye West and Kim Kardashian leaked a conversation with Taylor Swift, or when Kylie Jenner‘s ex-BFF Jordyn Woods was exiled from the family over Tristan Thompson‘s cheating scandal. Here are some of their highest-profile feuds:
Taylor Swift
Unless you were living under a rock in the year 2009, chances are you remember the time Kanye West interrupted a teenage Taylor Swift during her acceptance speech at the VMAs. While Kanye was vilified at the time, after he took the microphone from her and insisted that Beyonce deserved to have won instead, their feud came to a head in 2016. Taylor claimed Kanye never consulted her about his controversial lyrics on the song “Famous”. The track featured the lyric, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / Why? I made that b***h famous.”
She immediately slammed the song, taking issue with the fact she was referred to as “that b***h”, and has always maintained that Kanye never warned her about using that word. Months later, Kim leaked a snippet of Taylor and Kanye’s conversation on Snapchat, leading to massive social media attacks against the pop singer, which she said forced her into hiding for nearly a year. The feud has been reignited multiple times since, including in early 2020 when new evidence from their fateful 2016 conversation was put forward. A video was leaked, seemingly showing Taylor and Kanye’s full conversation. “People are just waiting for me to do something dumb or stupid or lame,” Taylor is heard saying through the other end of the phone, explaining that she likes the fact the song isn’t “mean” and doesn’t call her a “b***h”.
Jordyn Woods
Jordyn Woods and Kylie Jenner were once inseparable. The pair met when they were pre-teens and did everything together — Jordyn even had her own room in Kylie’s house! Their relationship was ripped apart when the model was accused of kissing Khloe Kardashian‘s boyfriend Tristan Thompson, the father of her young daughter True. Khloe openly blamed Jordyn for breaking up her family by fooling around with the Cleveland Cavaliers player, rather than putting the blame on her boyfriend.
Jordyn later apologized for the inappropriate kiss in an interview on Jada Pinkett Smith‘s Red Table Talk. “I’m no home-wrecker,” she tearfully said in the interview. “I would never try to hurt someone’s home, especially someone that I love, and someone who has a beautiful daughter. I never tried to steal someone’s man.” The KarJenner clan essentially exiled Jordan, leading to a barrage of hate being directed at her online. Others jumped to the defense of Jordan, taking the stance that while her actions were inappropriate, Khloe’s anger should have been directed at her then-boyfriend.
Larsa Pippen
Former Kardashian insider Larsa Pippen is officially on the outs. The wife of NBA star Scottie Pippen rose to fame as one of Kim Kardashian’s closest confidantes, however the whole KarJenner clan unfollowed her on IG in 2020. Amid swirling rumors, Larsa broke her silence during a bombshell interview with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn on their Hollywood Raw podcast. She blamed Kanye West for her falling out with the reality TV stars, and claimed the rapper “brainwashed” them against her.
“I just feel like Kanye was in a place where he really didn’t trust anyone with Kim,” Larsa explained, adding that the “Famous” rapper would call her at all hours of the night to “rant.” She continued, “I was his go-to person to call when he wasn’t happy with X, Y and Z. How that turned? Maybe because I blocked him on my phone because I couldn’t bear taking his calls anymore. I can’t. I’m drained.” The Kardashian family are yet to respond to these claims.
Drake
Another infamous family feud was Drizzy vs Yeezy aka Drake vs Kanye West. “I never knew till this morning that Drake followed my wife on Instagram back in September,” Kanye tweeted in December 2018, putting his wife Kim in the center of the dispute. “I had to bring this up because it’s the most f**ked up thing of all and I just saw it this morning. Imagine having a problem with somebody and they follow your wife on Instagram.” More drama ensued when Kanye produced one of Pusha T‘s diss tracks, “Infrared” in which he accused Drake of using a ghostwriter. Pusha T already had beef with Drake, having previously revealed the Canadian rapper secretly fathered a child.
Blac Chyna
Rob Kardashian’s ex, Blac Chyna who is the mother of their young daughter Dream Kardashian has longstanding beef with the KarJenner family. Chyna’s history with the reality TV stars goes back MANY years. She actually started as friends with Kim Kardashian, but it all fell apart when Chyna’s ex, Tyga, started dating Kim’s sister, Kylie Jenner. She publicly shaded Kylie multiple times, and later fell pregnant with Dream. Despite getting engaged to Rob, their relationship was short-lived. They split soon after Dream’s birth and entered into a lengthy custody battle, with both parents publicly making accusations about why they feel that their daughter is “unsafe” in the other parent’s care.
Although her drama with Rob has calmed down in the years since, her lawsuit against the Kardashian family remains ongoing. She sued the family in October 2017, after they allegedly interfered in her show Rob & Chyna, causing the show to be axed. She also claimed that racism played a part in Rob & Chyna’s cancellation, which ultimately led to financial loss, she alleges. In responde, the Kardashians issued a statement that accused Chyna of “changing her defense to try to leverage the emotions and pain of the moment, insulting the pain and suffering of real victims of racial injustice and systemic racism.”
Tristan Thompson
NBA star Tristan Thompson was on the outs with Khloe Kardashian, and the rest of her family, for some time. Khloe and Tristan initially split in February of 2019 after he was caught cheating on the Good American founder with multiple women. One in particular happened to be Kylie Jenner’s then-BFF Jordyn Woods, who allegedly kissed Tristan at a party. Nevertheless, he shares two-year-old True Thompson with Khloe, so he has never fully been on the outs with the family.
After multiple attempts to mend fences, it seems the KarJenner clan are now coming around to Tristan — Kim even described him as “so nice” during a KUWTK bonus scene. “He made mistakes, but I feel like he’s trying really hard … He’s really trying really hard. And it’s been a full year of him as a different person,” she said. Despite reports of Khloe taking Tristan back romantically, many social media commentators have urged Khloe to move on from the notorious cheater.
