Amanda successfully transitioned her career to the big screen with films such as What a Girl Wants (2003), Love Wrecked (2005), She’s the Man (2006), Hairspray (2007), Sydney White (2007), and Easy A (2010).

Personal Life:
Amanda has never been vocal about her dating life, but she’s been linked to Frankie Muniz, Channing Tatum, Nick Zano, Doug Reinhardt, and Kid Cudi. Amanda announced her retirement in 2010 before deleting her Twitter account. Ironically, Amanda has been vocal about not becoming a wild Hollywood star. In 2007, she said, “I think I’ll go out as much as I’ve ever gone out… which is not a lot. I like to dance and stuff, but drinking isn’t good for you in every way. It’s not good for your skin; it makes you feel horrible. So, drinking-wise, no.” Unfortunately, in 2012, Amanda experienced a number of run-ins with the law. The former Nickelodeon star was arrested for a DUI and two counts of hit-and-run. Amanda’s license was suspended, but her car was impounded after failing to abide by her suspension. Then in 2013, she was arrested in her home in Manhattan, New York for possession of marijuana when she allegedly threw a bong out of her window. She was sentenced to three years probation, and after receiving treatment at the UCLA Medical Center for about three months, Amanda was released and then enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Design & Marketing in LA.
