This changes everything! Pokemon GO players were left devastated when the game did away with their tracking feature and simultaneously shut down every other tracking app that popped up. Luckily, FastPokeMap returned on Oct. 23! We have all the details, right here.
Guys, it’s officially time to start playing Pokemon GO again! A lot of players stepped away from the game when they did away with their tracking feature that allowed players to know when they were near the creatures they so badly wanted to catch. Other apps had used the feature to locate exactly where each Pokemon was and display them on a map, but unfortunately all of these outside trackers were shut down at the same time. At least, until now!
As of Oct. 23, FastPokeMap is officially back up and running! Just like before, it will show where Pokemon are hiding, how to get to them and how long they’ll be there. All you have to do is run a scan on the app and within moments you’ll know where to go. If you lick on Even better? It’s free!
This feature was especially useful for hunting rare Pokemon like Dragonite and Snorelax that would only spawn once and a while so that you didn’t miss your chance to get them. Fans are of course completely thrilled about the development, but that doesn’t mean it’s perfect yet. The developers revealed that while they work out the kinks, the “scans are spotty” on the app, but they are making constant updates to make it work better. So exciting!
Here are some of the thrilled reactions from fans who have waited a LONG time for this:
