The cheers were loud for Conservative political commentator Laura Ingraham at the Republican National Convention on July 20 — but Twitter was not happy. The internet when crazy after she made an arm movement that resembled the Nazi salute! Watch the video here.
While praising Laura, 53, praised Republican candidate Donald Trump after he officially received the party’s nomination the day before, she brought the entire room to their feet while hundreds gave loud cheers. “You know why Donald Trump won the nomination?” she asked the crowd at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland. “It’s because he dared to call out the phonies, the frauds, and the corruption that has gone unexposed and uncovered for too long!”
She yelled at the journalists for corruption, and everyone is still talking about
her speech her arm movements she made at the end of her speech before waving at the audience. Of course, with Trump fans yelling “Heil Donald Trump” and “Sieg Heil” at his rallies, it definitely raised some eyebrows.
“When you forget you’re not in your living room so you pretend your Nazi salute was a regular wave,” one Twitter user wrote. “This speech was real good. Shoulda been prime time. But what is she doing here? 😜😜😀,” another added with a photo. After that, the GIFs began circulating.
It seems she has to know what that movement looked like, as she tweeted out a story DailyMail wrote about her, and they used that as the art. But she has not yet commented.
