Ross Mathews’ Book ‘Man Up’ — Dishes On Fave Celebs Like Amanda Bynes

It’s no surprise that Amanda has recently gone on a downward spiral, and her meltdown has turned into one of Ross’ favorite things. Although he’s never met her, Ross explains that he would love nothing more than to interview her now to find out what her deal is, and he even goes so far as to say he’s obsessed with her! In our exclusive interview he explained, “every morning I wake up and there’s like a little gift from her on my Twitter. It is so good!” Hopefully one day Ross will finally be able to talk with Amanda — maybe then we’ll all get some answers!

What About Chelsea Handler? Ross’ New Talk Show & More

Chelsea Handler, 38, host of E!’s popular talk show Chelsea Lately, is another important figure in Ross’ life, and has played a big part in helping his career explode. Giving Ross the opportunity to be featured on her show isn’t the only thing she’s done. In fact, she is the producer of Ross’ upcoming talk show that is set to launch in the fall of 2013 and she is also responsible for publishing his literary masterpiece, Man Up — seems like she’s a pretty awesome friend to have!

Also giving us insight into working on After Lately, HollywoodLife.com got to learn a little bit more about what it’s like behind the scenes with Chelsea Handler. For anyone who has seen an episode of Chelsea Lately, you’d know that she thrives on poking fun at celebrity guests, and Ross describes the experience on After Lately as being pretty similar — “the number one thing that everyone has in common who goes on that show is that you’re down to make fun of yourself and to make fun of everyone, no one is off limits on that show.”

With a new talk show approaching and his first book in stores now, Ross continues to excel in his career and is ready to take pop culture to a whole new level. We can’t wait to see what he’s up to next!

Chelsea Handler and Conan O’Brien are willing to do anything for a laugh. For example, the two stripped down and wrestled in the Chelsea Lately staff showers to open her show last night!

Chelsea Handler & Conan O’Brien Nude In The Shower

In the skit, Chelsea walks into the showers completely nude — with pixelated censors over her lady parts, of course — and gets a huge shock when Conan joins her. Also naked! Conan tells Chelsea, “This is my studio. You stole it, remember? I still have the key. Plus, this is the best water pressure in Hollywood.”

Conan demands for his parking space back, which is “four inches wider” than his new one. And finally, he wants his back massager back. At least he did: Chelsea tells him, “I do use that back massager, although I had no idea it was for my back.”

The fight ramps up when Conan accuses Chelsea of being a man, to which Chelsea responds that she’s the first woman in late night. But Conan won’t relent, claiming that Joan Rivers was the first woman in late night, adding, “I’m still convinced that whatever that is it’s female.” Joan Rivers burned!

But enough chatting — Chelsea begins walloping on Conan and before long, BOTH of them have black eyes (though you’ll have to watch the video to fight out exactly how they got them).

No fight is over though until Chelsea’s assistant Chuy Bravo rides in on a motorized scooter, so thank goodness he does, ending the fight and landing a punchline of his own!

Spring Breakers co-stars Selena Gomez and Vanessa Hudgens were guests on Chelsea Lately last night, March 21, and one thing’s for sure Chelsea Handler wasn’t afraid to ask the difficult questions!

Selena and Vanessa revealed that they both had to audition for their roles in Spring Breakers.

Chelsea then asked Selena why she was such a Hooters fan–a restaurant Selena and Justin used to go to  together all the time–and Selena replied, “My dad wanted me to be a boy!”

When asked if she was enjoying being single, Selena replied, “I really am!” Is that a major diss to Justin, or what?

On March 21, Vanessa posted a sexy pic of herself with Selena and Chelsea’s sidekick Chuy on her Facebook page and wrote ,“You know you’ve made it when ur next to Chuy ;) Chelsea Lately was so fun hehe. Tune in tonight!”

Meanwhile, Selena tweeted a bunch about Spring Breakers which opens today, March 22.

Selena & Vanessa Make The Late Night Show Rounds

In a recent interview with Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Vanessa revealed that she had major anxiety filming the threesome sex scene with Ashley Benson and James Franco in Spring Breakers.

“It was like the weirdest thing ever; I mean I think just as an actor in general that’s such an uncomfortable thing to do. We were like, ‘This is gonna be fine, right?’ We were giving ourselves so much anxiety that we were so much more nervous by the time we actually got to set. It was just bad.”

On Late Night With David Letterman, Selena even went so far as to diss Justin Bieber.

During the interview, Dave joked that the last time he had Justin on his show he made him cry. Selena quickly responded, “Well, then, that makes two of us.”

Chelsea slammed Angelina in her interview, and she insists it’s not because of her friendship with Jennifer Aniston, who used to be married to Angelina’s current partner Brad Pitt.

“She seems like a demon,” Chelsea told Andy Cohen. “It has nothing to do with Jennifer. As a woman, I know when you see somebody walking across the room that’s a bad girl. I just don’t like Angelina Jolie. I don’t think she’s a girl’s girl. I like girl’s girls!”

Meow Chelsea! Her words are pretty harsh, but let’s not forget, this is not the first time she has dissed Angelina!

Taylor said, “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help other women.”

Taylor, 23, said in her recent Vanity Fair interview, “For a female to write about her feelings, and then be portrayed as some clingy, insane, desperate girlfriend in need of making you marry her and have kids with her, I think that’s taking something that potentially should be celebrated — a woman writing about her feelings in a confessional way –that’s taking it and turning it and twisting it into something that is frankly a little sexist.”

Chelsea Handler is not known for holding her tongue, and the late night talk show host didn’t hold back when it came to her opinion on Chris Brown‘s explicit Twitter rant on comedy writer Jenny Johnson.

Chris Brown Threatens Jenny Johnson’s Retina

During the roundtable discussion on Chelsea Lately, the comedian explained the verbally violent exchange between Chris and Jenny — including Chris’ threats to “shart” on the writer’s retina.

“He’s not very good with anatomy, the retina is way back there and hard to get to,” Chelsea quipped. “You might want to start with the iris, moron.”

Chris deleted his Twitter account on Nov. 25 after his verbal attacks on the writer.

Jennifer Aniston visited her BFF Chelsea Handler‘s late night talk show, Chelsea Lately, on Monday, Oct. 15 to sit as the first guest on Chelsea’s new stage. The best friends engaged in a little girl talk about Jen’s recent engagement to Justin Theroux, and Jen, so happy about it, shed some tears! It was so heartwarming to see the beloved Friends actress so sincerely happy.

Jen’s love life has been heavily scrutinized by the media ever since Brad Pitt left her for Angelina Jolie. The poor woman has had every date she’s ever gone on in the interim gossiped about and compared to Brad and Angie’s relationship. It would have been enough to make anyone become a hermit to avoid prying eyes.

But Jen remained brave and continued her search for love, finally finding herself with Justin. And, judging by her reaction to just discussing the engagement with Chelsea, she’s finally happy! Let’s hope that Chelsea’s comment that Jen and Justin are “the greatest couple ever” lives up to its hype. I don’t want to see my favorite Friend hurt again!

Chelsea Handler‘s late night talk show, Chelsea Lately, moved into a new studio on Monday, Oct. 15 and she had a very special guest on hand to celebrate the occasion: Sandra Bullock, like you’ve never seen her before!

In a very funny sketch taped to open the show, Chelsea was enjoying a pre-show shower when Sandra popped up out of nowhere! Both actresses appeared to be nude, as Sandra lectured Chelsea about the responsibilities of her new studio.

“You have a responsibility to be a respectable talk show host. This comes directly from Oprah’s mouth, to my ear, to my mouth, out of my mouth, into your ear, down your body, out your vagina, up my vagina, out my ass.
