Jonah Hill (born Jonah Hill Feldstein in Los Angeles, CA on December 20, 1983) is an American actor, producer and comedian. Jonah grew up in the Cheviot Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles, attending Brentwood School and then Crossroads School. He attended Bard College, The New School and University of Colorado. While in college, Jonah began writing his own plays and performing them at the Black And White bar in the East Village. After befriending Dustin Hoffman’s children, Jonah was invited to audition for a role in I Heart Huckabees. Jonah landed the part and made his film debut. Jonah connected with Judd Apatow, appearing in Judd’s directorial debut The 40-Year-Old Virgin in 2005. Jonah would appear in Judd’s movies Knocked Up, Superbad, Get Him to the Greek, Walk Hard: The Dewy Cox Story, Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Funny People. Jonah debuted a slimmer figure in 2011, having lost over 40 pounds.
