Tyler Lockwood left something very important behind, but by the time everyone realizes it, everything had changed. Plus, Enzo is finally back.

This week’s ‘Vampire Diaries’ opened with the scene on Wickery Bridge, the day that Elena’s parents died. Only this time, she wasn’t saved — Sybil had changed that memory so that Damon never had the chance to get to know her.
Happy birthday, The CW! In honor of the network’s 10th anniversary on Sept. 18, HollywoodLife.com is remembering the best ships of The CW. From Chuck and Blair to multiple ‘TVD’ couples, these are the most unforgettable romances of The CW!
Bonnie and Enzo seemed to end on a good note when season seven of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ wrapped, but no one can deny the flame that once burnt between Sarah Salvatore and the brooding vamp. So now that she’s back, will it affect the #Benzo love?
If one things for sure: Julie Plec knows how to rock a finale. ‘The Vampire Diaries’ wrapped up season seven with anything but a bow on the May 13 finale, ending the show on a major cliffhanger.
This is your warning: if you haven’t yet watched the season finale of The Vampire Diaries, and have somehow avoided spoilers by now, do not continue reading! If you haven’t, continue to see what the biggest TVD fans are saying about Caroline (Candice King)’s big decision, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Enzo (Michael Malarkey)’s huge sacrifice, and yes, that voice.
The Gilberts will always be a family… and yes, ‘Vampire Diaries’ fans will agree with me. Elena and Jeremy reunited last weekend while at Coachella!
Elena Gilbert was always protective over her little bro, Jeremy — and now it looks like they’re partying together! Nina Dobrev ran into Steven R. McQueen while at weekend one of Coachella, and of course he snapped a photo. While neither are currently on The Vampire Dairies, we were pretty thrilled to see them back together as they were one of our favorite brother/sister duos ever.
Plus, everything changes for Stefan and Valerie — and Caroline?
Was Bonnie (Kat Graham) really so hurt by Damon’s (Ian Somerhalder) betrayal enough to land in the psych ward? Not so much — but she was in there. We quickly learn that over the past three years, the armory has been hunting her. But why?
Will the real Stefan Salvatore please stand up?
Remember all those bodies that Rayna had stored? Well after stabbing Stefan (Paul Wesley) again and the sword blowing up, she revealed that every vampire she killed was now back. The catch? They didn’t have their own bodies to live in. So yes, another way for Stefan’s body to be used, once again on The Vampire Diaries.
‘The Vampire Diaries’ is losing another leading lady! Kat Graham confirmed that next season on the hit CW series will be her last. Yup, she’s following right in Nina Dobrev’s footsteps and leaving! But, wait…does that mean Nina’s character could come back?!
Kat Graham is ready to move on from The Vampire Diaries. After eight seasons on the show, the actress revealed that she will make her big exit in 2017. So WHAT does this mean for her character’s fate on the show?! And does her leaving open the door for Nina Dobrev to make a big return?!
Losing your favorite character isn’t easy. Over the years, some of the best actors have left their hit TV shows. This meant the tragic death of a fan favorite or a shocking twist. Here are the 12 most shocking TV exits ever!
Whenever a main character leaves a TV show, it’s big. It’s impossible to forget George’s death on Grey’s Anatomy or Derek leaving the BAU behind on Criminal Minds. HollywoodLife.com has come up with the list of 12 stars who’ve left their hit TV shows! See who made our list!
Plus, is this the end of Steroline?
A strong Matt? A crying Bonnie? A (dare-I-say) happy Caroline (Candice King)? Yes, we saw all three of those things this week on The Vampire Diaries when we find out a huge secret on the Rayna front that pretty much changes everything. It all begins with Matt and Penny, his new GF, owing her a favor. We knew from there it wasn’t going to end well.
That. Was. Insane. The Feb. 19 episode of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ was thrilling from beginning to end. Stefan went to desperate lengths to save both Damon AND Caroline. Plus, Damon learned a shocking secret!
The Feb. 19 episode of The Vampire Diaries was one of season seven’s best yet. Rayna continued her path of destruction, Valerie helped save Caroline and the babies, Stefan rescued Damon (again), and Enzo revealed something that changed everything for Damon.
Another week, another downward spiral for Damon. Luckily, his big bro was there for the big rescue this week — but wasn’t too thrilled about the Elena news.
After literally lighting his ex on fire last week’s Vampire Diaries, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) couldn’t even look at himself in the mirror — or his brother in the face. So, who did he turn to? Well, Julian of course, which we all know wasn’t so smart. Right away, he started killing innocent people, then decided to go after Julian’s friends. Not such a good idea, D.
After the way Damon took out everyone last week, it wasn’t surprising (even for him) that he was chained up within the first two minutes of this week. Oh yeah, and it wasn’t exactly just a week.
First things first:Â The Vampire Diaries started with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) realizing he took out everyone and trying to fix it — before being informed that he wasn’t actually out for a weekend — but actually for multiple weeks, and during that time, Mystic Falls took a turn for the worst, yet again. Thanks a bunch, Julian.
With the big return of ‘Vampire Diaries’ and ‘The Originals’ on the CW tonight, of course we had a ton of questions. Lucky for you, we also got a ton of answers.
With The Vampire Diaries and The Originals crossover coming, the thought in everyones mind was clear as day: will Klaus and Caroline reunite? Well, not exactly — but he will find out about her magical pregnancy.
‘Silent Night’ just got even more silent.
What better way to start the holiday season than with a funeral? Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) put their mother to rest this week, before heading on a hunt for Julian — but naturally, they met some angry elves along the way: Julian’s little helpers. And well, “Let It Go,” took on a whole new meaning.
The gang tried their best to kill Julian without any problems, but the Dec. 3 episode of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ ended in heartbreak. Lily made a shocking sacrifice for Damon that will change everything.
The Vampire Diaries just dropped one heck of a twist on the Dec. 3 episode. Caroline (Candice King) finally told Stefan (Paul Wesley) about her pregnancy, Enzo (Michael Malarkey) made one last declaration of love to Lily (Annie Wersching), Julian (Todd Lasance) forced Lily to choose between Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Valerie (Elizabeth Blackmore), and she ended up doing something no one saw coming.
Caroline’s starting to show! Caroline’s pregnant with twins, and she’s got a tiny baby bump in ‘The Vampire Diaries’ holiday episode photos. Aw!
It’s Christmastime in Mystic Falls, and Caroline’s expecting! Our favorite blonde vamp is pregnant, and these new Vampire Diaries Christmas pics showcase Caroline’s little baby bump. But Caroline doesn’t look too happy.
This week on ‘Mommie Dearest,’ the appropriately titled Thanksgiving episode of ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ we learned something important about Lily: she has really bad taste in men.
After last week’s pregnancy bombshell on The Vampire Diaries, we had to know what was next and well, if it could really be possible. Could Alaric’s twin babies really have been magically placed in another’s stomach? Well, yes. They could. And now we’ve seen the ultrasound.
Poor Alaric was forced to say goodbye to Jo once again on the devastating Nov. 12 episode of ‘The Vampire Diaries.’ But is Jo’s road really over? Jodi Lyn O’Keefe sounds off to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY about a possible return.
The beautiful Jo “died” once again on The Vampire Diaries, with Alaric by her side. Jo’s been brought back to life once, so is she really gone for good? Jodi Lyn O’Keefe talks to HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY about the whether or not this is end for Jo, her thoughts on Alaric and Caroline and more.
