The Vampire Diaries
Losing your favorite character isn’t easy. Over the years, some of the best actors have left their hit TV shows. This meant the tragic death of a fan favorite or a shocking twist. Here are the 12 most shocking TV exits ever!
Whenever a main character leaves a TV show, it’s big. It’s impossible to forget George’s death on Grey’s Anatomy or Derek leaving the BAU behind on Criminal Minds. HollywoodLife.com has come up with the list of 12 stars who’ve left their hit TV shows! See who made our list!
Plus, is this the end of Steroline?
A strong Matt? A crying Bonnie? A (dare-I-say) happy Caroline (Candice King)? Yes, we saw all three of those things this week on The Vampire Diaries when we find out a huge secret on the Rayna front that pretty much changes everything. It all begins with Matt and Penny, his new GF, owing her a favor. We knew from there it wasn’t going to end well.
After being marked at the end of last week’s ‘Vampire Diaries,’ Stefan needed to getaway — and where else, but New Orleans?!
Naturally, Stefan (Paul Wesley) received help from Valerie in order to find a safe place, a place he could get away from Rayna. That also meant he had to be away from Caroline (Candace King), again. So, he was sent to New Orleans to the bar that was sired by magic — a place Rayna could not track.
You’ve been waiting for a Klaroline moment, and well, you’ll get it tonight on ‘The Vampire Diaries’ crossover with ‘The Originals.’ Well… sort of.
“There is a presence of Caroline buried within that, but I can’t really say in what context,” Julie Plec already teased about the Caroline-Klaus connection in The Vampire Diaries crossover episode with The Originals, which will air on Feb. 26. Well now she’s teasing a little bit more. So, when Stefan and Klaus have a heart-to-heart, how will their mutual love be a part of it?
That. Was. Insane. The Feb. 19 episode of ‘The Vampire Diaries’ was thrilling from beginning to end. Stefan went to desperate lengths to save both Damon AND Caroline. Plus, Damon learned a shocking secret!
The Feb. 19 episode of The Vampire Diaries was one of season seven’s best yet. Rayna continued her path of destruction, Valerie helped save Caroline and the babies, Stefan rescued Damon (again), and Enzo revealed something that changed everything for Damon.
Another week, another downward spiral for Damon. Luckily, his big bro was there for the big rescue this week — but wasn’t too thrilled about the Elena news.
After literally lighting his ex on fire last week’s Vampire Diaries, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) couldn’t even look at himself in the mirror — or his brother in the face. So, who did he turn to? Well, Julian of course, which we all know wasn’t so smart. Right away, he started killing innocent people, then decided to go after Julian’s friends. Not such a good idea, D.
We knew it was coming — after Damon put the
nail flame in the coffin on his relationship with Elena last week, we knew it’d only be a matter of time before Stefan found out, and flipped out. Well that time is now.
Stefan (Paul Wesley) is a good brother. We all know that. But when Damon (Ian Somerhalder) reveals to him the truth — that he burned Elena’s body which makes it pretty much impossible for her to ever return, Stefan reacts like any other human would: with a punch. Watch The Vampire Diaries sneak peek now!
After the way Damon took out everyone last week, it wasn’t surprising (even for him) that he was chained up within the first two minutes of this week. Oh yeah, and it wasn’t exactly just a week.
First things first: The Vampire Diaries started with Damon (Ian Somerhalder) realizing he took out everyone and trying to fix it — before being informed that he wasn’t actually out for a weekend — but actually for multiple weeks, and during that time, Mystic Falls took a turn for the worst, yet again. Thanks a bunch, Julian.
Who else has been having withdrawals from ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ while it’s been on hiatus? Luckily we live-blogged this week’s episode/Groundhog Day special.
The Vampire Diaries went right into the action when it returned — Damon (Ian Somerhalder) landed in his personal hell, where Henry (Evan Gamble) and Lily both were, and immediately, he picked up a letter from his brother. Of course.
With the big return of ‘Vampire Diaries’ and ‘The Originals’ on the CW tonight, of course we had a ton of questions. Lucky for you, we also got a ton of answers.
With The Vampire Diaries and The Originals crossover coming, the thought in everyones mind was clear as day: will Klaus and Caroline reunite? Well, not exactly — but he will find out about her magical pregnancy.
The ‘bad boys’ are back — and we couldn’t be happier about it. The first footage from the epic ‘Vampire Diaries’ crossover with ‘The Originals’ in New Orleans is here, and yes, there are drinks involved.
It’s not surprising that when Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) are back together on screen, they’re sitting at a bar. The Vampire Diaries and The Originals crossover event will happen in episode 14 for each show, but we just got our first look and we’re pretty freakin’ excited.
Every time Tyler Lockwood randomly pops up on ‘The Vampire Diaries,’ it’s a good thing. And on February 5, it may be a great thing.
What could bring Tyler Lockwood (Michael Trevino) back to little old Mystic Falls? Could it be his old BFF Matt (Zach Roerig) is in trouble? Could it be Alaric (Matthew Davis) needs his help? Or, and this is our favorite, could he want to see his ex, and dare I say, soulmate, Caroline (Candice King) again? Well, you can take your guesses before clicking in.
With Caroline now with child, it’s tough to imagine how a man fits in. We know from the flash-forwards she won’t be with Stefan forever… but could Klaus get involved? Well Julie Plec is definitely aware of Klaroline’s existence!
Ever since Klaus (Joseph Morgan) officially headed to New Orleans and left Caroline (Candice King) in Mystic Falls, the Klaroline fans have been dying to see if there will ever be some sort of reunion. (I mean he does intend to be her last love.) So, what’s that mean for The Originals/The Vampire Diaries crossover coming midway through the season?
Praise the high heavens! ‘The Vampire Diaries’ and ‘The Originals’ will be having a crossover event this season. Does this mean Klaus and Caroline will come face-to-face again?
This is going to make The Vampire Diaries and The Originals fans very happy. The shows will be crossing over this season, CW president Mark Pedowitz announced at the Television Critics Association press tour on Jan. 10. Stefan (Paul Wesley) must make his way to New Orleans and encounters Klaus (Joseph Morgan) once again. Get the scoop on the crossover episodes now!
