‘Vampire Diaries’: Alaric & Caroline’s Twins Are Real – Season 7 Recap – Hollywood Life

‘The Vampire Diaries’ Recap: Caroline Finally Finds Out Stefan’s Secret

This week on 'Mommie Dearest,' the appropriately titled Thanksgiving episode of 'The Vampire Diaries,' we learned something important about Lily: she has really bad taste in men. After last week's pregnancy bombshell on The Vampire Diaries, we had to know what was next and well, if it could really be possible. Could Alaric's twin babies really have been magically placed in another's stomach? Well, yes. They could. And now we've seen the ultrasound.

Caroline (Candice King) spent the this week trying to figure out this whole pregnant-with-Alaric’s-babies thing. The first pregnancy test was negative, but Valerie convinced her to go to the doctor — and finally told her that she knew so much about the spell because she tried it when she was pregnant with Stefan’s (Paul Wesley) baby. So yeah, the cat’s outta the bag. With that, she went to the hospital and while the ultrasound showed no babies, it was just because they were “cloaked.” Yup, they were in there, and we heard the heartbeat.

Speaking of babies, Lily revealed quite the dark tale of her past to Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan, who had her tied up in the their house to get her to turn on Julian. Lily revealed that when Damon was a kid and took the fall for stealing money from this father, it was actually her who stole the money — and yes, she stood by while he was punished.

Damon stormed out, super angry and basically wanting to hurt her — somethign that could b done easily now that her life was linked to Julian’s. He found Enzo, and helped stab Julian over and over again with a sword they were convinced could kill him. (Yes, they had a sword fight. Like Hook style.)

However, Stefan stayed for the rest of the story: Lily had actually stolen the money and bought tickets to take them away from Giuseppe; when he found out, he hit her and threatened to take the boys away from her forever.

Luckily for them all, the sword actually didn’t work without the Pheonix stone (seriously, what is this thing?!), so they both survived. But once back home, Lily realized the similarities in Julian and Giuseppe. And with that, she went to her sons and said she had a plan to take him out… which we’ll see in two weeks when TVD returns… we’ll also probably see more of Benzo, since they ended drinking at a bar together.
