Chase is an actress.

Chase has notably acted in the films On the Rocks, Bodies Bodies Bodies, and Out of the Blue. She’s been involved in several short films, including 2022’s Wake which she also directed and wrote. On television, Chase played Riley in the HBO Max dramedy series Generation, which was canceled after one season. She’s set to star in the upcoming Apple TV+ miniseries City on Fire, based on the book by the same name.

She was born in Michigan.

Chase was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan. Her mother is of European ancestry and her father is of Chinese ancestry.

She went to Harvard University.

Chase is a Harvard University alumna, having majored in film studies and production at the Ivy League school. She wrote for the college humor publication, The Harvard Lampoon, which helped her get a foot in the entertainment industry.

She’s related to a famous fashion designer.

Chase is the niece of fashion designer Anna Sui, 58. Anna is one of the most celebrated names in the fashion industry. Her brand includes fashion lines, footwear, cosmetics, fragrances, jewelry, and more. Chase collaborated with her aunt as a model for a fashion campaign in 2021, according to Vogue.

She dated Charles Melton.

Chase started dating Riverdale star Charles Melton, 32, around March 2022, according to Seventeen magazine. They went Instagram official in July 2022, with a now-deleted photo of the pair cuddling at a baseball game. Fans suspected that Chase and Charles broke up when the actress started hanging out with Pete in December 2022.
