David Foster (born David Walter Foster on November 1, 1949 in Victoria, Canada) is a musician, producer, songwriter and composer. As a producer, he has worked with big names like Christina Aguilera, Michael Bublé, Madonna and more. When he was younger, Foster played keyboard for a pop group called Skylark, then later formed the band Airplay. He then began writing songs and scores for major artists and films. Foster has 16 Grammy Awards and serves as the chairman of Verve Records.

Foster has been married four times: to singer/writer B.J. Cook, Rebecca Dyer, actress Linda Thompson and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Yolanda Foster. Foster and Yolanda married  in 2011, but they announced plans for divorce in Dec. 2015. Foster has five children, and is the stepfather of Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid. As a philanthropist, he is the founder of David Foster Foundation, which helps children get medical transplants.
