Christian Bale (born Christian Charles Phillip Bale in Haverfordwest, Pembrokeshire, England on January 30, 1974) is a British actor. He first came to public attention, when he starred in Steven Spielberg’s Empire of the Sun. His roles range from huge Hollywood blockbusters to smaller independent films. He is notable for his role as Patrick Bateman in American Psycho, and as Bruce Wayne/Batman in Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Christian received several awards, including an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor for his portrayal as Dicky Eklund in The Fighter.

Personal Life:
