Today in People Are Terrible News, Playboy model Dani Mathers has posted an inappropriate Snapchat about a naked woman at her gym, body-shaming her with a rude caption. People are understandably furious at the model for her comments — take a look.
Dani Mathers, 29, body shamed a naked woman while she showered at the gym, sparking a furious backlash. Though the model claims she posted the photo “by accident”, fans are angry that she took a photo of an oblivious stranger, then gave it a mean caption. Ugh!
Dani posted the image of the nude woman on her Snapchat story, along with a selfie where the Playboy model has a hand over her mouth. “If I can’t unsee this then you can’t either!” she captioned the pic of the unsuspecting gymgoer, basically inviting an adverse reaction. Twitter user Hollie Taylor wrote, “@DaniMathers it’s people like you that make others feel uneasy about changing openly in locker rooms. appalling.” Priscilla Sanchez agreed: “@DaniMathers that poor woman’s naked body is now circulating the internet when she never intended it to. It’s really heartbreaking.” Check out more horrified reactions right here:

@DaniMathers Regardless of body shape, you shouldn't be posting naked photos of others without their knowledge. I'd sue your ass.

@DaniMathers because of shallow, heartless people like you. It is too bad that you use your celebrity to spread hate instead of love.

Dani may have been named Playboy magazine’s 2015 Playmate Of The Year, but a more fitting title might be Least Popular Person Of 2016. She immediately took down the snaps and issued an apology, also on Snapchat. “I just want to acknowledge a photo that I accidentally posted. It was absolutely wrong and not what I meant to do. I chose to do what I do for a living because I love the female body and I know body shaming is wrong, that’s not what I’m about and this is not the type of person I am,” she said in a video.
I'm sorry for what I did… I need to take some time to myself now to reflect on why I did this horrible thing. Goodnight.

Dani added, “The photo was taken as part of a personal conversation with a girlfriend and because I am new to Snapchat I didn’t realize I had posted it, and that was a huge mistake. I know I have upset a lot of people out there but please believe me this is not the type of person that I am. I have never done this before and I will never do this again, you have my word.” Um, too late.
