Ayesha Curry just shut down the haters! After being trolled on Twitter following the Golden State Warriors’ heartbreaking loss in Game 7 of the NBA Finals, Stephen Curry’s wife took to social media to declare that she’s ‘proud of her men’ no matter what. See her tweets right here!
Ayesha Curry knows how to fuel a fire on Twitter, but she did the exact opposite after her hubby Stephen Curry and his Golden State Warriors lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the 2016 NBA Championship on June 19. The 27-year-old didn’t even seem phased by the shade she was getting on social media, totally ignoring the Twitter trolls!
Once the game was over and the Warriors officially went down 93-89 against LeBron James and the Cavs, Ayesha tweeted a super sweet message to her man’s team. “Proud of our men! #DUBNATION #WARRIORS … That was an insane season. Can’t deny it. Proud proud proud. Heart. Fight and Passion,” she wrote. Considering the trolls were out to get her practically the second the Warriors lost, her message seemed to maybe have a little more meaning than just congratulating the Warriors on a great season — telling off the haters, perhaps?
Ayesha has been the victim of some social media mockery throughout the playoffs and NBA Finals, but she really sparked some controversy with anti-Warriors fans when she tweeted about the NBA Finals being “rigged for money” after Stephen was ejected from Game 6. Ayesha’s now-deleted tweet backfired on her once the Cavs beat the Warriors to take the championship and resulted in a slew of hilarious memes mocking her for staying so quiet during the game.
Surely Ayesha saw all of the hate she was getting, including a meme of her family with the infamous Michael Jordan crying face pasted on the whole fam’s faces as well as a picture of Steph getting totally dominated by LeBron while he was trying to shoot. But even amidst all of the shade, Ayesha didn’t just show her Warrior pride — she let the trolls know they weren’t getting to her with another positive tweet!
Everything according to his plan 💙💛💙💛💙 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽 always Glory to God!!!!!!!!

Now that the Cavs came out on top and Ayesha put in her two cents about the Warriors’ loss, hopefully the Twitter battle between Ayesha and her haters will fizzle. That is, until next season!
