‘Star Wars’ fans – AKA everyone ever – got some terrible news on Jan. 20 when Disney announced that ‘Episode VIII’ was going to be released 7 whole months later than expected, Dec. 15, 2017. Now, fans are going crazy on Twitter and their reactions are hilarious. See them here!
Sorry guys, but we’re going to have to wait longer than expected to watch the second installment of the Star Wars reboot. While the seven-month delay of Episode VIII is definitely a bummer, fans’ hilarious Twitter reactions helped pull us out of our depression. See all of the best tweets, here!
Disney announced on Jan. 20 that instead of the May 2017 release date we were originally counting down to, Star Wars: Episode VIII won’t be out until seven months later – Dec. 15, 2017. We’re definitely not looking forward to waiting that long until the sequel, but we found some Twitter comedians that were even more upset than us, and their reactions are priceless. Here are a few of our favorites.

This fan felt the same, but cuter and more cartoon-y. Who knew Donald Duck had so much rage inside of him.

Darth Vader is dead, and even HE can’t stand that the film was pushed back.

At least there’s one person who’s happy about the delay, and it’s this fan who’s going to get the best birthday present ever on Dec. 15, 2017.
