Beyonce: Don’t Give Jay Z Any More Chances

Beyonce, if it’s true that Jay Z cheated on you — which your new album, ‘Lemonade’, seems to imply — then you are one forgiving woman. But Jay Z, be warned: your wife should not tolerate anything less than total faithfulness in the future.

Beyonce, you certainly sound like a woman scorned in multiple songs on your new masterpiece album, Lemonade. And if Jay Z was the man who caused you the intense heartbreak that you’re singing about, then he needs to be counting his lucky stars that you didn’t toss him to the curb for good and move on. And listen here Beyonce, you don’t ever need to go through any romantic betrayal again. You aren’t just one of the world’s most talented, brilliant and beautiful stars; you are a wonderful woman and mother.

Primary Day: Why I’m Voting For Hillary Clinton

Courtesy of Instagram

It’s Primary Day in New York, one of the biggest primaries of the 2016 election, and I’m casting my vote for the most qualified and woman-friendly candidate on the ticket: Hillary Clinton. Here’s why.

If you live in New York State, then today is the day to make your voice heard and I’m proudly standing up for Hillary Clinton for president. I know she will pull our country back together, not tear it apart. Republicans Donald Trump and Ted Cruz have spent their campaigns vilifying and scapegoating illegal Mexican immigrants, promising to spend billions to build a wall at the Mexican border and $200 billion to deport 11 million people — as if this was our country’s very top priority.

North Carolina & Other States Need To Stop Passing Anti-Transgender Laws

REX/Shutterstock

What is wrong with legislators and the governors of North Carolina, Tennessee, Mississippi, Missouri and more states who are actively passing discriminatory laws against transgender people? Bigotry needs to stop.

Transgender people deserve equal rights, just like ever other American citizen, and the new anti-LGBT law in North Carolina deprives them of their basic rights and must be repealed. Imagine singling out a group of people — transgenders — who have already coped with the emotional upheaval of recognizing that their gender identity is not the same as their biological sex — then subjecting them to prejudice.

You Need To Exercise Your Right To Vote This Election

Courtesy of Instagram

Today, I went to see presidential candidate Hillary Clinton speak and I came away impressed and inspired. But, no matter which candidate you’re leaning towards, this will be a critical election and you must exercise your right to vote.

Whether you’re a Democrat or Republican, a Bernie Sanders, Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump, Ted CruzJohn Kasich, supporter or undecided, you need to make your voice heard this election season. Next Tuesday, April 19, is the primary date in New York, April 26th is Pennsylvania, Connecticut and Maryland’s big day and June 7th is when voters take to the polls in California and New Jersey. These are huge population states, so there’s a good chance that many of you still have a chance to vote for who will represent you in the presidential race, whether as a Democrat or Republican.

Taylor Swift & Selena Gomez: Thanks For Burying The Silly Idea That Girls Are Always Rivals

REX/Shutterstock

I know, I know that Taylor Swift has long been on a mission with her ‘girl squad’ to prove that women can be friends — not just frenemies — but last night, she and Selena Gomez really demonstrated how true that is.

Last night, April 3, was a major milestone for Girl Power, with Taylor Swift and Selena Gomez showing us how it’s done at the iHeartRadio Music Awards. It was a huge night for both talented young women, with Selena taking home the award for Triple Threat and Taylor landing four of the coveted prizes, including Best Tour and Album of the Year. But here’s the best thing about all this: both stars took the opportunity onstage at the awards show, to make a statement about the importance of female friendship.

Birth Control: Why The Supreme Court Should Insist That All Women Get Cost Covered

Courtesy of Wikipedia Commons

Would you be angry if your employer refused to allow your health insurance to cover the cost of your birth control, because it was against the boss’ religious beliefs? The Supreme Court is considering this issue right now.

When Congress passed the Affordable Care Act, it guaranteed by law that all female employees would have the cost of their birth control covered by insurance. Fantastic, right? After all, insurance companies routinely reimburse men for the cost of the men’s “sex” drug, Viagra, as well as for Rogaine, which helps them grow hair on their bald heads. If men can get reimbursed to buy a drug that gives them erections for sex, then surely a woman should be able to be reimbursed for the birth control pill or IUD (intrauterine device) so she can make family planning decisions.

Donald Trump: Insulting Heidi Cruz Is New Proof That He’s Unfit To Be President

Courtesy of Twitter/ REX/Shutterstock

American women, rise up! You need to rally against misogynist Donald Trump becoming the GOP candidate for president. When he insulted Ted Cruz’s wife Heidi, supposedly for not being as beautiful as his wife, Melania, that was the final, FINAL straw!

Donald Trump shockingly crossed one more moral line by insulting Heidi Cruz, Ted‘s wife, twice in recent days. Wait, let me correct that — first, Trump threatened Heidi, tweeting that he’d “spill the beans” on her, suggesting that he had some scandalous info about her. He went to war against Heidi in retaliation for an ad on Facebook showing Melania Trump posing nude in GQ magazine . It produced by an anti-Trump Super PAC — but it was not the doing of Ted Cruz.

Donald Trump: Stop Inciting Students & Children To Spew Hate Against Minorities

Donald Trump, not only are your racist rants inspiring scary, bigoted behavior among students and children, you’re too much of a coward to even respond to questions about the frightening phenomenon.

Donald Trump, you weren’t man enough, despite your extra large penis, to answer NPR reporter Cokie Roberts‘ question about children repeating your deportation threats to other children. That’s right, Donald. Respected journalist Cokie Roberts asked for your response to incidents in which white children have taunted minority children with your name and your promises to deport illegal immigrants. Here’s what went down  between you and Cokie on the morning of Weds., March 9.

If JoJo Fletcher ends up being the finalist dumped at the very last minute by Bachelor Ben Higgins, then she deserves to be the next Bachelorette.
