Elizabeth Olsen looked stunning at City Harvest’s 19th Annual An Evening Of Practical Magic. The event was held at New York’s Cipriani on April 16. Elizabeth’s green eyes were spellbinding and her hair was cool and casual and so easy to rock yourself! The stylist who created the look, Ted Gibson, breaks it down for you below!

Elizabeth Olsen’s City Harvest Hair — Get Her Exact Look

“The idea of this particular textured bun is effortless chic,” Ted tells HollywoodLife.com.

“There was a lot of embellishment on the collar [of her dress] so the hair needed to be up and not down. I started off with Build It Blowdrying Agent and Tame It Shine Lotion. I blew her hair dry with my fingers in a twisting motion, so that I could get the hair to have a roughed-up surface as opposed to smooth.”

“After the blow-dry, I used a little more Tame It into the hair then pulled everything into a low ponytail. After the ponytail, I used small elastics about 3 inches apart down the pony. Securing small areas on the pony, I twisted the knot to look almost Japanese in effect. I sprayed Beautiful Hold Hairspray over the entire head then roughed up the top of her head with my fingers. It turned out super pretty and she loved it!”

Even though New York Fashion Week has come to an end, we’re still so impressed by the slew of stylish looks we saw on the celeb set. The front rows of the hottest shows were full of fabulously dressed celebs who wanted a glimpse of the Fall 2013 collections. Take a peek here to see who attended and let us know who YOU think had the best look of the week.

The new and improved Miley Cyrus, 20, looked seriously stylish on Feb 13 sitting front row at Marchesa when she donned a white frock, which was very fitted on the engaged star. A detailing at the bottom added to the feminine yet refined sophistication of the dress. Sealing the look with leopard heels and a black leatherette – there was no question that Miley felt the need to spike up her tresses!

Vanessa Hudgeons, 24, showed off an audacious sand colored sleeveless halter jumpsuit for the Jenny Packham Fall 2013 show. The romper was pulled together with a decorative collar which included fun embellished metallics. Other attendes at Fashion Week included Katherine Heigl, 33, who made an appearance at the J. Mendel show, along with Jenny Packham and Reem Acra. The actress wore a very modest dress with a floral print pattern for J. Mendel. The wide V-neck cut to the dress added a fun element to the frock. Her shoes were by far her most sensational pick. Wearing spiked neon heels — those babies accomplished the look! Finishing off the stylish front row was Elizabeth Olsen , 23, at Proenza Schouler, pairing a black top with an over-sized cobalt blue coat. Staying on trend this season, the Olsen darling ended the look with black leather pants and tasteful patterned heels. All of these celebrities looked ideal, each creating their own looks based on their own personal styles.

18-year-old Dakota Fanning is not the little girl from Charlotte’s Web anymore. She attended the Sundance Film Festival premiere event for her new movie, Very Good Girls, at the Eccles Center Theatre in Park City, Utah on Jan. 22. She wore a flattering Louis Vuitton navy outfit, and proved to everyone she is all grown up.

Dakota sported a knitted navy sleeveless crop top and paired it with an embellished and embroidered mini skirt. She chose this outfit from the Pre-Fall 2013 collection. The get-up looked great with a pair of black tights and Alaia ankle boots. The mid-part done on her straight blonde hair looked ultra chic, and the deep red lips were the perfect touch!

Not only are her styles developing, but her acting roles are maturing as well. In Very Good Girls, Dakota’s character, Lilly, and Elizabeth Olsen‘s character, Gerry, both make a pact to lose their virginity during the summer after their freshman year of high school. The two girls fall for the same guy, and their friendship is tested for the first time. She has played numerous serious roles in the past, but this one seems even more serious. She faces the typical relationship problems of a high school teenage girl, and she plays quite the dramatic role.

Breaking Dawn Part 2 hits theaters in November, but don’t expect to see Elizabeth Olsen at the premiere. In fact, the 23-year-old actress has never read any of the Twilight books!

HollywoodLife.com caught up with Elizabeth at The New York movie premiere of Liberal Arts on Sept. 10,  sponsored by QUINTESSENTIALLY and The Peggy Siegal Company.

Although her character in the film, 19-year-old Zibby, has a slight obsession with vampire fiction, the actress herself does feel the same way.

“If I have the opportunity to read that’s not a script or prepping for a movie, I read things that I think are on my list of books that I have to read before I die,” she said,

“I’ve actually never read Harry Potter, or any type of fun, adventure anything, or young adult anything.”

But, she’s not knocking people who enjoy in a little guilty pleasure fiction now and then

“If people want to do it, by all means, I’m not going to judge them,” she added.

And even she is weirded out but the thought of fame as she continues to grow in her career. “Yesterday three people told me that I look like Elizabeth Olsen. That’s never happened before. So awkward.”

While she may still be figuring it all out, she luckily has the help of her older sisters. “They’ve figured it all out, and I should just listen to them more” she admits.

Our favorite time of the year is finally here: awards season! Kate Beckinsale and Anthony Mackie presented the nominees for the 2012 Film Independent Spirit Awards and we were thrilled to learn that some of our favorite actors — including Ryan Gosling, Michelle Williams and Elizabeth Olsen – were all given a nod for their amazing performances. The Artist, a silent film which is getting a ton of buzz leads the pack with five nominations along with Take Shelter a drama starring Michael Shannon. But right not too far behind was Drive which stars our man Ryan Gosling! We really hope he wins Best Male Lead. Michelle Williams was nominated for her unbelievable performance as Marilyn Monroe in My Week With Marilyn and Mary Kate & Ashley Olsen‘s younger sister Elizabeth Olsen was nominated for her starring role in the psychological thriller Martha Marcy May Marlene.

But why wasn’t George Clooney nominated for his role in The Descendants? He gave a moving and engaging performance as a man who is faced with the difficult task of having to tell his two daughters that their mother is in a coma after being involved in a tragic boating accident. This was a total snub!
