Yikes. Mike Fleiss, the creator of ‘The Bachelor’ franchise took to Twitter on June 29 claiming that he heard there is ‘damning footage’ of Donald Trump on the set of ‘The Apprentice’ — and he wants producers to release it!
Mike Fleiss may be the creator of true love on ABC — yes, all three Bachelor nation shows — but one thing he’s not a fan of? Donald Trump. He’s apparently heard rumblings of some never-before-seen recordings that NBC and the producers of The Apprentice have — and he thinks the world deserves to see them.
“I’m hearing that there is all kinds of damning footage of @realDonaldTrump on the set of The Apprentice. Full-blown racist rants!!!,” Mike began on June 29. “The producers of The Apprentice owe it to the American public to release the footage of @realDonaldTrump’s racist outbursts… Release the tapes, you cowards!!!”
Now this is only part of the issue — The Apprentice is also back in the news since he has claimed he’s donated millions to charities over the years. However, in 2004 right before The Apprentice began, Howard Stern asked him point blank about his paychecks.
“You’re getting paid over $2 1/2 million!” Howard said on his show. “Yeah, I don’t do it for that,” Donald responded. “I’m giving the money to charity.” He named AIDS research and the Police Athletic League, but according to The Washington Post, that year, Trump’s foundation gave $1,000 to AIDS research and $106,000 to the Police Athletic League.
Three months after that interview, Donald returned to Howard and of course, the host asked “You’re not giving your whole salary to charity, are you?” asked Stern. “No,” he answered. “But, I give much more than my salary to charity over the course of a year,” he said.
Well it looks like each day that goes on, this situation just gets more complicated! HollywoodLifers, do you think the rants are real? Should NBC release them if so?
