The UFO flying high over Southern California wasn’t piloted by aliens, but celebs like Khloe Kardashian and Kendall Jenner didn’t know that! The unsettling streak of blue light had famous peeps taking to Twitter, demanding answers. Click through to read their tweets!
Khloe Kardashian, 31, was your one-woman source for UFO sighting news on November 7, live-tweeting the whole experience as she and sister Kendall Jenner, 20, freaked out! Other celebs got in on the action, unable to contain their questions, fear, fascination — and jokes — as the still unidentified flying object soared across the skies. Everyone can breathe a sigh of relief, because after their tweets were posted, the real reason behind the UFO was explained. The Navy launched a test missile out of a military submarine stationed off the coast of San Diego, which trailed with the streak of blue light that everyone saw piercing the night sky. Unfortunately, the Navy didn’t tell anyone ahead of time that this was happening. Cue the alien conspiracy theories!
Those were just a few of Khloe’s tweets included above! She clearly the most in-tune with the whole situation; we hope she wasn’t too disappointed when the truth about the missile came out! But maybe the Navy’s actually covering something up — Josh was abducted, and nobody’s doing a damn thing about it! Okay, we’re all joking. The unarmed missile was launched over the ocean and up the Pacific coast as part of a testing program. It’s not standard procedure to tell anyone about the testing ahead of time, so of course the entire region freaked out as much as Khloe and co; the object could even be seen in Arizona and Nevada! The hysteria didn’t just stay in America, as UFO-shaped clouds were seen in South Africa the day after the L.A. UFO scare!
