Filming is underway on ‘Scream 5’ and star Neve Campbell couldn’t be more thrilled. She especially stoked to work with OG stars Courteney Cox and David Arquette again.
‘Scream’ fans rejoice! Neve Campbell just revealed that she’s in ‘conversations’ about appearing in the upcoming sequel!
Neve Campbell is the ultimate ‘Scream’ star — the movie wouldn’t be what it was without her as Sydney Prescott; and who knows if the show would even exist. So, why did she turn down the chance to do a cameo on the MTV series?
After having her son in 2012, Neve Campbell took some much deserved time off — until she returned to TV with her role on House of Cards. HollywoodLife.com caught up with the actress at Variety‘s Power of Women luncheon on April 8, where she admitted that she’s actually never seen the MTV show, Scream, based on the movies that made her so famous. The possibility of Donald Trump becoming America’s 45th president has some celebrities so terrified, they want to move out of the country if he gets elected. His Super Tuesday victory has a number of stars on edge, with most wanting to move to Canada and one planning a trip to Jupiter!
Yikes! The words President Donald Trump have some celebrities booking their moving vans to pack up and move out of the U.S. if the 69-year-old becomes the Commander-in-Chief, and you’ll never believe some of the intense and completely visceral reactions stars are having to the notion. Miley Cyrus, 23, leads the pack after she penned an emotional open letter about it, but there are plenty of other stars who might be on the move if he wins the general election.
Neve Campbell says she wouldn’t be who she is today without Wes Craven — and we have to agree. The director and horror legend passed away at 76 on Aug. 30 and now the stars of the ‘Scream’ trilogy are speaking out.
What would horror be with out Scream, The Nightmare on Elm Street and The Hills Have Eyes? The term “Do you like scary movies wouldn’t exist,” for one, but there’s a good chance that the horror genre in general would have been completely different without the impact that Wes Craven had on films. Scream 4 was released in 2011 and was the last film he did before his death. Wes passed away in his LA home from brain cancer, but the cast of Scream are just remembering him for what he was: hilarious, kind, and an all around great friend.
Plus, Derek’s sister drops by for a life-changing visit!
In a last stitch effort to repair Derek’s (Patrick Dempsey) hand, his sister Lizzie (Neve Campbell) arrived in Seattle to donate a nerve to him on the Dec. 6 episode of Grey’s Anatomy. Meanwhile, the new interns learned just how difficult it is to earn the respect of their attendings.
It’s been a decade since we last saw Sidney Prescott (Neve Campbell) escape from the clutches of the evil Ghostface — so instead of picking up the phone, you should run to theaters and catch this terrifyingly great movie!
One rule about a sequel is to never mess with the original, and when it comes to the Scream franchise they have had their hits — Scream 2 — and their misses — Scream 3. So consider my return trip back to Woodsboro one that was met with conflicting and mixed emotions. Would it hold a candle to the previous sequels? Would it be a complete nightmare… in a bad way? Well let me be the first to say when I left the theater, I wanted to open my wallet and buy another ticket immediately!
Neve is surrounding herself with family & friends while she goes through her second divorce.
After three years of marriage, Neve Campbell has filed for divorce from her husband, 36-year-old actor John Light. Though Neve lives in London, she quietly filed the petition in a Los Angeles court June 30. HollywoodLife.com caught up with the actress Dec. 1 at Quentin Tarantino‘s Friar Club Roast sponsored by Samurai Love Sake in NYC — and it sounds like she’s already looking toward happier days!
