Miles Teller (born Miles Alexander Teller in Downingtown, Pennsylvania on February 20, 1987) is an American actor. His first major onscreen role was Rabbit Hole in 2010 alongside Nicole Kidman. Soon after, he began nabbing major roles. He stole the show in 2011’s Footloose. However, his role in The Spectacular Now garnered him critical acclaim, and he became a hot commodity in Hollywood. He won Dramatic Special Jury Award for Acting at the 2013 Sundance Film Festival. He’s also starred in That Awkward Moment and Divergent. His role in 2014’s Whiplash was another critically revered film. The film received major audience and grand jury awards at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival. The film went on to win three Oscars. Miles has a huge career ahead of him, including his roles in Fantastic Four and Insurgent.
