Dawson’s Creek fans rejoice! We’re one step closer to the reunion we’ve all been waiting for! Co-stars Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson had a “very nice” chat recently! Keep reading for all the details!

After Katie went through a public divorce with Tom Cruise, she’s been busy rebuilding her life, focusing on daughter Suri, 6, and catching up with old friends.

On Sept. 20, Katie’s old Dawson’s Creek co-star Joshua revealed on the Canadian talk show George Stroumboulopoulos Tonight that Katie recently called him up to catch-up! We love it!

“Yeah, actually,” he said when asked if he’d been in touch with Katie recently.

“Like any old friend, it was like, ‘Oh, hi how are ya? What’s going on?’ ‘Oh, I had a kid,’” about Suri. “It was very nice, actually.” Awww!

Joshua Jackson has been dating girlfriend Diane Kruger since 2006, but we kinda, sorta, secretly hope Joshua and Katie start dating!

We’re also hoping that now that Katie’s controlling ex is out of the picture, a reunion can happen! “I had so much fun working on that show and I loved everyone so much and I think about it with such fond memories,” Katie gushed during November 2011 appearance on Good Morning America.

The gorgeous German actress admits that although she can’t wait to be a mommy, she is ‘over marriage’ and thinks it’s unnecessary. Do you agree?

Diane Kruger, who just celebrated her fifth anniversary with her beau, Fringe star Joshua Jackson, is ready to start making babies! But one thing she’s not ready to do is tie the knot again.

Diane, 35, was married to French actor and director Guillaume Canet, who just welcomed a baby son Marcel with French actress Marion Cotillard. The pair divorced in 2006, the same year Diane met and fell for former Dawson’s Creek star Joshua.

“I’m over marriage. No marriage for me,” the Inglorious Bastards star tells InStyle magazine. “But I definitely want to have kids. I have three goddaughters – I’m not sure why they trust me, because I have no experience with children – but I try. One of my goddaughters is in London and Josh and I love London. When we go, I take her to the park, the zoo and [the toy shop] Hamleys.”

As for what Joshua, 33, thinks about this whole ‘no marriage’ thing, Diane says they have an understanding at her approach to relationships works perfectly for them.

“Life is more important than work… it was just lovely being together,” Diane says of her and Joshua.

“It’s hard sustaining relationships at a distance, but if you want to be together it comes down to that,” she adds. “We have the three week rule – we have to see each other, otherwise you drift. But we also enjoy our independence. We have our own lives and have a lot to bring back into the relationship because of that. I’m very independent. I’m not sure how I’d deal with someone who wanted to be with me 24/7.”

You may know Lance Reddick as an FBI Agent on the hit FOX series Fringe — but did you know that this ‘tough guy’ is sort of a nerd?

Lance Reddick, 40, currently stars as Agent Philip Broyles on Fringe (yes Pacey lovers, the show that features hottie Dawson’s Creek alum Joshua Jackson) and was in a handful of other hit TV series including Lost, Oz and The Wire.

And although he may always play a Lieutenant, FBI Agent, or Police Officer on TV, in reality Lance considers himself a geek and is quite the prankster! But that’s not all there is to learn about this manly-nerd!

“My German is terrible,” Joshua Jackson, 31, told partygoers Jan. 15 at the BAFTA LA Tea Party. Fortunately his German-born girlfriend Diane Kruger, 33, doesn’t seem to mind Joshua’s questionable foreign tongue. In fact, the couple reportedly spent most of the Beefeater 24-hosted party off on their own, laughing and flirting. After arriving together, Joshua gave her a kiss on the cheek before the couple claimed an empty table as their own. Eyewitnesses say Diane was touching his leg and rubbing his beard — real lovey-dovey stuff. We bet Joshua will be by Diane’s side tonight at the Golden Globes — her movie Inglourious Basterds is up for four awards!

Joshua and Diane have been dating since 2006, and even had to dodge engagement rumors this past summer. Before dating Joshua, Diane was married to French actor/director Guillaume Canet from 2001 to 2006.

Josh and Diane, we know you’ve been together for forever but beware of dressing alike! We don’t want you to end up like Kate Hudson and A-Rod!

We thought it was cute two weeks ago when Kate Hudson showed up at London’s Heathrow airport in a fedora that ended up belonging to her (then) boyfriend Alex Rodriguez. A couple that dresses alike should be on the same page right?  WRONG!

Of course ,since then we’ve learned that Kate and A-Rod have called it quits and we had a bad case of déjà vu when we spotted longtime lovebirds Joshua Jackson and Diane Kruger in LA’s LAX yesterday.  Landing at the airport, wearing the same fedora? Here we go again!

Although, we also noticed that Josh and Diane—who have been dating since 2006—made one distinct difference that Kate and A Rod neglected:  they had their own fedoras. Even if they did wear matching versions, Diane didn’t invade Josh’s space by snagging his.

So maybe they’re onto something after all. Still, for our comfort Josh and Diane, step away from the fedoras before someone gets hurt!
