Carey Mulligan lights up the screen as Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby in a slew of gorgeous costumes — and she continued her stellar style run at the Cannes Film Festival! The 27-year-old is busy promoting the film but she still managed to fit in a quick change. While she sported two completely different looks she looked gorgeous and elegant in both!

Carey’s Black Jumpsuit:

Carey waltzed onto the red carpet in what looked like a very comfy black Balenciaga jumpsuit and a pair of pointy black heels. She looked simple and chic in the ensemble. The neckline is very unique and is rounded at her collarbone while she finished it off with a simple updo and gorgeous diamond studs.

Carey’s Cannes Premiere Gown:

The next time Carey hit the carpet was for the glam premiere, where she opted for a pale pink, silk Christian Dior gown — she looked like a porcelain doll! The neckline of the gown was very steep, revealing a lot of her chest, and the back of the gown has spaghetti-straps and a very low back. The silhouette hugged her svelte frame and fanned out, creating a glamorous look. Carey let her hair down and wore her blonde hair sleek and straight, parting her locks in the middle. A bright red lip finished off the outfit. Pearl, teardrop earrings finished the look.

Many of her co-stars, (and other celebs), attended the premiere at Cannes, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Isla Fisher, and Cindy Crawford.

Robert Pattinson’s 2013 is pretty packed, but it appears that he’s gotten a bit of a reprieve. Hold On To Me, a film Rob was scheduled to shoot this year, is actually on hold!

Carey Mulligan: ‘Hold On To Me’ Is On The Back Burner

The movie’s co-star, Carey Mulligan, revealed that things just haven’t come together and that production has come to a standstill. Talking to MTV, Carey said, “We couldn’t get it together in time. We still hope to do it.”

“It’s just sort of hanging out there for a second,” Carey says about Hold On To Me, which would have been a thriller based on the true story about a fierce female who kidnaps and ransoms New York City’s richest man.

Hopefully things work out and they’re able to put the movie together — something tells us Rob would look great alongside Carey!

Robert Pattinson: More Time To Spend With Kristen Stewart?

Then again, it’s probably for the best. Rob’s 2013 schedule was seriously chockfull of commitments and it no doubt would have taken a toll on Rob’s relationship with Kristen Stewart. We know how much effort K-Stew has been putting into the relationship – HollywoodLife.com reported EXCLUSIVELY that “Rob is her priority… their relationship comes first” — so Rob’s overly busy schedule was a roadblock completely out of her hands.

K-Stew definitely was NOT looking forward to the next time he left to film a movie, as HollywoodLife.com also reported EXCLUSIVELY. “She is absolutely dreading to have to say goodbye to him when he leaves for his next project,” a source said.

Well, she’ll still have to say goodbye when he leaves to film Mission: Blacklist, but at least she won’t have to do it a second time for Hold On To Me!

‘Great Gatsby’ Premiere Beauty — Isla & Carey

Carey’s stunning red dress required little makeup. Her skin glowed with a breathable foundation. Her eyes were accentuated with a thin liner and black mascara. She wore just a hint of dark pink gloss on her lips and filled in her brows with a light brown pencil. Understated and elegant! Her hair was slighty teased in front and pulled into a small bun near the back of her neck.

Isla embodied old Hollywood glamour with her stunning red hair in soft waves. She wore a bright red lip and a sexy cat eyeliner on her eyes. Gorgeous!

On May 1, Isla’s hairstylist Jen Atkin wrote, “So much fun getting #IslaFisher ready 4 the #Gatsby premiere tonite! @kateydenno @JillLincoln#Dolce&GabbanaDress #RedLips#BouncyWaves.”

Carey Mulligan was beaming on the red carpet at the world premiere of The Great Gatsby at Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts in NYC on May 1, where the star opted for a vibrant red Lanvin dress. Carey continued her minimalistic yet chic approach while promoting the highly anticipated film, opting for understated glamour.

Carey Mulligan ‘The Great Gatsby’ Premiere Dress:

The 27-year-old star’s frock from the Fall 2013 collection hit right below the knee, hugging her svelte frame, while the strapless, sweetheart neckline allowed her flawless skin to really shine. While part of me wishes the star opted for a glam gown for the world premiere, I was pleasantly surprised to see Carey turn up in such a vibrant hue. She paired her red dress with Brian Atwood ‘Aida’ sandals in black satin. The feminine detail of the shoe was perfect against the dress, but I thought the black shoe was a distraction. I wish she opted for a metallic sandal instead.

Carey Mulligan ‘The Great Gatsby’ Premiere Jewelry:

While her dress was rather classic her jewelry really stole the spotlight! Carey was dripping in $131,500 worth of Tiffany & Co. jewels, including her exquisite pear-shape and round diamond cluster earrings in platinum and a Tiffany ‘Legacy’ round diamond ring in platinum. The bling really added the finishing touches to her dress!

The natural beauty sported barely there makeup, a trend that was so hot on the Fall 2013 runways. Lightly lined eyes, nude shadow and fluttering mascara rounded out her premiere routine while a natural, rosy lip finished off her flawless look.

Sure, Carey looked effortlessly chic look at the world premiere but it definitely wasn’t my favorite dress on the star — but I’m not giving up hope on seeing Carey wow on the red carpet! I can’t wait to see what she’ll wear in Cannes, when the highly anticipated film kicks off the chic festival.

Kate Hudson At Tiffany Ball — Her Pretty Retro Curls

It wasn’t just diamonds that were sparkling at the April 18 party! Tons of Hollywood’s leading ladies attended the party dressed to the nines.

Kate and Jessica wore retro curls that we saw all over red carpets during 2103 awards season — both looked stunning!

Khloe Kardashian‘s fave hairstylist Jen Atkin tweeted on April 19: “#JessicaBeil for the Tiffany’s Event. Makeup @MollyRStern Hair @atkinjen Styling @esteestanley Flower Hairpiece @TiffanyandCo.”

Jessica had very subdued, natural makeup, with a soft brown eyeshadow and nude lip.

Kate was a show-stopper with pink eyeshadow and thick, black eyelashes. Her natural-looking tan gave her a glow, as did her pretty pink blush. Her lips were shiny wearing a pink gloss.

Michelle’s punky hair continues to look cool. She wore black mascara, a light red/pink lip and gorgeous blush.

Kate toasted her glass of Moet & Chandon Imperial Champagne with Sarah Jessica Parker and Gwyneth Paltrow.

Carey’s No Makeup Look

Carey looked like she was barely wearing any makeup at all. Her porcelein skin was smooth and flawless. Her thick eyebrows were groomed and her platinum hair was pulled back off her face.

She was wearing barely any eye makeup, instead keeping the soft focus on her pink lip and her Victoria Beckham suit.

When Baz asked Leonardo Dicaprio, 38,  for his opinion of Carey’s audition, he replied, “Well… I guess that’s the Next Big Thing in acting.”

“We’ve seen a lot of great actors, but Daisy has got to be a kind of hothouse flower, something that Gatsby never encountered before, such that he feels an obsession to pretect her,” Leonardo told Vogue.

When we last heard about Robert Pattinson‘s upcoming movie Hold On To Me, it was October of 2012 and the hunky actor had just been cast as Carey Mulligan‘s love interest, which guaranteed a handful of shirtless scenes! On Feb. 6, FilmNation, the company behind the film, announced that it’s officially in pre-production, while also revealing a whole slew of exciting new details about the movie!

Mulligan plays Nancy, a small town girl who callously leaves her boyfriend Jimmy (Pattinson) behind to chase a modelling career in New York City, breaking his heart in the process. Rob’s Upcoming Film Line-Up

Hold On To Me is one of three films on Rob’s current production slate. The actor is currently filming The Rover in Australia, and he’s also set to star in Mission Blacklist, where he plays a soldier and will film in Iraq later in 2013.
