After several weeks of questionable eliminations on Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars, I’ve grown more than a little skeptical of America’s decision-making skills — but the viewers finally got it right Oct. 16 when they voted to bump Bristol Palin from the dance floor. Good riddance to bad dancing.

Truth be told, I don’t think Bristol deserved a spot on the all-star season to begin with! She’s not an actress. She’s not a singer. She’s not even a pro-athlete. She’s the daughter of a politician who ran for vice president four years ago and lost. How exactly does that make one a “star?” And don’t even try to counter with “she had a reality show on Lifetime,” because I saw one episode, and it was like watching a slow death.

I get that Bristol was originally cast in season 11 because she was relevant — at the time — but to bring her back as an “all-star” merely encourages her to continue spewing her own brand of nonsense for attention.

DWTS has always played fast and loose with the word “star,” but Bristol’s inclusion was the height of just too muchery. Bristol’s not the worst dancer the show has ever seen, but the fact that she pales in comparison to Kirstie Alley — who dances circles around Bristol and is 40 years her senior — is proof alone that she needed to go.

My condolences to Mark Ballas. He deserved a better partner.

“Her [Sarah] figure has changed, but is in no way as bad as it may seem but it’s obvious that she is jealous of Bristol’s look,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com. “Sarah always mentions and comments how in shape Bristol has become, and she’s always talking about Bristol’s body and how she looks in the outfits she wears for the show [Dancing with the Stars]. Sarah likes to work out with her daughter. They are carbon copies of each other and Bristol is treated more like a sister then a daughter.”

Sarah stepped out on Oct. 7 donning tight blacks jeans and a tiny crop looking noticeably thinner than usual — almost unrecognizable!

Nutrition expert Lisa De Fazio tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY, “She [Sarah] appears to weigh about 105 lbs currently and 140 lbs previously. I would not recommend she lose more weight.”

Perhaps Sarah’s been taking her own tips from the fitness book she’s been working on? Hmm!

This week, the all-star celebs were the creative directors and Len challenged them to make the most creative, eye-popping dances ever!

The first of two bombshell announcements was that next week, superstar and dance professional Paula Abdul will be a guest judge!

The second surprise was that the all-stars are picking the dance styles for each other next week! Strategy will play a huge factor! Can’t wait for next week!

But first, let’s get to the dancing!

Drew Lachey and Anna Trebunskaya danced the Cha Cha for a score of 24. Len said it was perfectly balanced and “terrific.” Carrie Ann said it was “tight and precise.”

“50 Shades Of Gilles”

Gilles Marini and Peta danced the tango for a score of 25.5. Gilles actually flew over the audience in the beginning of their dance! Bruno said “Gilles can fly in and out of any bedroom he chooses. 50 Shades of Gilles!”

Melissa Rycroft and partner Tony Dovolani danced the Samba for the highest score of the season – 27! Carrie Ann said it was “steller” and Bruno raved Melissa did the dance like a star!

Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff danced the foxtrot to Gilles’ previous routine for a total score of 25.5. Bruno said it was sensual, classic and exquisite!

Kelly Monaco and partner Val Chmerkovskiy danced his brother Maks’s paso doble for a high score of 27! Val started the routine shirtless, which was a nice Bruno raved he was “tingling with pleasure.” Carrie Ann said they are the couple to watch!

British Invasion

Kirstie Alley and Maksim danced the Cha Cha Cha for a score of 24. Maks made a grand entrance as Mick Jagger in a mini cooper, crazy wig and super tight pants! Bruno said he “nearly burst a gut!”

Last week’s top scorers Sabrina Bryan and Louis Van Amstel danced the paso doble for a score of 25.5. Bruno said “maximum fire power! At times, you look like you are leading Louis!” Len said it was fabulous!

Emmitt Smith and partner Cheryl Burke danced the paso doble for a total score of 25. Bruno said “the raging bull is back!”

Helio Castroneves and partner Chelsie Hightower danced the quickstep for a total score of 25.5. Len said the dance was top notch! Bruno said it started “absolutely brilliant” but then it collapsed a little bit after he stepped on her dress.

Bristol and Mark’s Blowup

Bristol Palin and Mark Ballas started the week on a dramatic note as they got into a huge, tearful blowup! Bristol accused Mark of being mad he didn’t have a partner like Sabrina or Shawn. Mark said he’s been on her side the entire time and always stuck up for her.

Bristol said, “I feel like you want to go home” after Mark missed a practice earlier in the week. Bristol walked off in tears!

But tonight, they were all smiles. They danced the paso doble for a score of 22.5, their highest score so far. Len said it was their best dance yet. Bruno said “Check Mate Bristol! The ice queen with a killer streak! Get that aggression out, it works!”

The Best Of The Night

Shawn Johnson and Derek Hough danced the quickstep for a score of 26.5. Bruno and Carie Ann gave them a standing ovation! Bruno said, “Shawn and Derek – the incredibles! Spectacular, unforgettable, one of the best, if not the best, dance I’ve seen in 15 seasons! I’m never going to forget this!” The judges had to take points off for “breaking the rules” aka being AMAZING!

After the Oct. 2 episode of Dancing With the Stars: All Stars, Bristol Palin opened up to HollywoodLife.com and had some choice words regarding Julianne Moore’s Emmy win for portraying Sarah Palin in HBO’s Game Change. Hint: Bristol is not a fan.

“I don’t think she is a good interpreter of my Mom, I think my Mom is way hotter then that, she doesn’t have that accent and it’s all kind of silly… My Mom’s awesome,” Bristol told HollywoodLife.com exclusively.

“I feel so validated because Sarah Palin gave me a big thumbs down,” Julianne told the audience as she accepted her Emmy win on Sept. 23. Apparently, her daughter gives Julianne a big thumbs down as well.

Sarah once deemed Game Change as unimportant saying, ”[my] family has the right priorities and knows what really matters,” in an email to ABC News, according to the Chicago Tribune. “For instance, our son called from Afghanistan yesterday and he sounded good and that’s what matters,” Sarah added. “Being in the good graces of Hollywood’s ‘Team Obama’ isn’t top of my list.”

Bristol is currently vying for the mirror ball trophy on the “All Stars” edition of Dancing With the Stars.

I don’t know if Bristol Palin was carrying around post-baby weight after giving birth or just her own teenage baby fat, but either way the Dancing With the Stars contestant certainly isn’t carrying around any more excess pounds — and she loves showing off her sexy new body! On Oct. 1, she took the stage where she gyrated with her partner, Mark Ballas, in seriously short hotpants — all while her mom, Sarah Palin, looked on.

While there seems to be a lot of controversy surrounding Bristol’s new bod, regardless of how she got the new figure there’s no denying the fact that the girl is looking really good — even if her moves on the floor weren’t enough to impress the judges!

Levi Johnston has the everlasting connection of being the father of Sarah Palin‘s grandson, but it’s what he’s doing with his new daughter, Breeze Beretta, that might have you all very surprised!

As we all know, Levi already has one son, Tripp, with DWTS All-Star, Bristol Palin. But if it was up to him, “You couldn’t pay me enough to go back to that place. It just wasn’t who I was,” he declares about life with the Palin family in an exclusive interview with Inside Edition, airing September 25.

Though he hasn’t had the greatest of times with his ex, Bristol, his current girlfriend and mother of his second child, Sunny Oglesby, 20 seems to be setting his life on a great path, and we’re happy to hear that’s the case. “Things are good. We’re happy at night. We’re a family, and that’s good.” A far cry from the bitterness he holds with the Palin family, which the Palin family seems to return, in kind, for Levi.

The judges may have been focusing on Bristol Palin‘s dance, but we were enamored with her rockin’ new body!

“I’m definitely in better shape than I was last time, definitely. I’m just more active and I cut all the crap out of my diet! It’s that simple,” Bristol, 21, spilled to Us Weekly. ”And my kid’s a lot more rowdy, a lot more active. I’m running after him a lot! He’s huge! He thinks he’s a teenager already.”

Bristol and partner, Mark Ballas, danced the Cha Cha to “Blow Me (One Last Kiss)” by Pink. Mom Sarah Palin was in the audience while Bristol’s son Tripp was plugging his ears! Judge Carrie Ann Inaba voted her the most improved! Len Goodman said she was “far more confident.” Bruno Tonioli said it’s all about “power and focus.” Carrie Ann’s 6.5, Len’s 6.5 and Bruno’s 6.5 gave the pair a 19.5 total. She was definitely more comfortable on the stage and we think it was the best she’s ever looked!

“It’s definitely a step in the right direction,” Mark told The Hollywood Reporter of Bristol’s smaller frame after last night’s show. “She looks amazing, and I definitely can feel it when I move with her. She’s more smooth.”
