It’s about time a female coach wins ‘The Voice,’ and thanks to Alisan Porter, it’s looking pretty likely that Christina Aguilera will get that chance on May 24. After being a front runner all season, Alisan, in my eyes, secured her victory with one powerful performance in the finale, and she totally deserves the win.
The four finalists on Season 10 of The Voice are all beyond talented, but after an incredible night with 12 performances, there was simply one that stood out above the rest. Alisan Porter’s rendition of “Somewhere” from West Side Story was the exact right song choice, and her delivery of it proves why she deserves to be the Season 10 winner.

I love ‘The Voice,’ but the last few seasons have just been SO predictable…and I blame the iTunes vote. The best part of a results show is the air of mystery surrounding who will go home, but since iTunes downloads have become such a big part of the voting process, I’m rarely anxious or surprised during elimination episodes.
