It’s not much, but we’ll take it! Game of Thrones released the first look at season 6 on Dec. 6 in HBO’s trailer teasing the network’s 2016 shows. We get brief glimpses of Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) and Cersei (Lena Headey) in the clip, but there is still not footage of Jon Snow (Kit Harington).

Can’t say we blame her! Emilia Clarke’s sex scenes on ‘Game of Thrones’ have been the subject of a ton of chatter (because they are nuts). However, it turns out Emilia herself actually hates them!
During Game of Thrones’ insane fifth season, the brutal and graphic sex scenes garnered a ton of attention (and some criticism). One particularly rough moment featured Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) getting violently raped, and it struck some as unnecessary. Regardless, the scene was hard to watch and incredibly graphic– and Emilia wishes it hadn’t been so explicit. In fact, she admitted that she can’t stand them!

Well, at least she’s being honest. ‘Game of Thrones’ star Emilia Clarke recently discussed what really went down when filming (one of) her brutal rape scenes– this one with Jason Momoa– and what she had to say was huge.
On June 19, Game of Thrones star Emilia Clarke dropped by The Graham Norton Show to discuss, amongst many other things, what it was like to film that scene in which Khal Drogo (Jason Momoa) raped her character, Daenerys. While the scene was obviously hard for us to watch at home, it sounds like it was even harder for Emilia to actually film, especially considering Jason’s “huge,” uh, weapon. In ‘Breaker Of Chains’, the April 20 episode of ‘Game Of Thrones’, Joffrey’s killer is revealed, Daenerys lands in Meereen, and Jon Snow and Tyrion Lannister are in some preeetty tough spots.
A little less adrenaline-fueled than last week’s Purple Wedding which saw Joffrey meet his sweet, deserved end, “Breaker Of Chains” picks up some pieces, and puts others together. Most notably, Joffrey’s killer is revealed, and Daenerys arrives at Meereen. Dany is on the cusp of adding to her sizeable army of ex-slaves in order to finally take over Westeros as its rightful (depending on whom you ask) Queen.
