Eliza Dushku is hitting back at ‘Bull’ co-star Michael Weatherly and show producers. She telling her side of went down on set that led to CBS giving her a $9.5 million payout over sexual harassment allegations.
Stephen Colbert officially took over ‘The Late Show’ on Sept. 8, bringing out his first two guests, George Clooney and Jeb Bush — and both were equally entertaining. So, we’ve broken down every moment you missed (what were you doing?)!
Stephen Colbert broke in the Ed Sullivan Theater in the best way ever. We knew this season of The Late Show would be different, and the 51-year-old host reassured just that when his opening skit included people from all over singing “The National Anthem” — one man wearing a catcher’s mask. And at the very end, that man took the mask off to yell, “Play ball.” And it was Jon Stewart. Oh yeah, and then Colbert did that dance that we loved from the “Get Lucky” video.
After 1,097 essays, and 33 years at CBS, Andy has stepped down from his ’60 Minutes’ throne — it won’t be the same without him!
Tears streamed down my face as Andy Rooney said ‘goodbye’ during his final Sunday night sign off. The 92-year-old has made a living out of complaining over every day annoyances, but he dropped his curmudgeon act and tugged at my heartstrings during his final essay. Read More!
During Charlie Sheen’s My Violent Torpedo of Truth/Defeat is Not an Option tour in Boston April 12, the former Two and a Half Men star announced his intentions to become president. Let me be the first to say he has a shot and I officially have joined the Warlock party!
When you think of Charlie Sheen, you think of winning. But could Charlie’s winning ways take him all the way to the White House? If Donald Trump is highly considered to have a chance in 2012 and Sarah Palin has a chance, then anything is possible! Read more
Her new syndicated show reportedly will launch in 2012 –after Katie bolts the ‘CBS Evening News’ anchor chair she’s held for almost five years!
Katie Couric — who broke through the glass ceiling of network news as the first woman to go solo as the face of a nightly newscast — will be following in the pioneering footsteps of Oprah Winfrey to start a new daytime talk show, The Associated Press reports.
Rumors have been swirling that Rob Lowe, John Stamos or some other troll will be taking over Charlie’s role on Two & A Half Men, I don’t think there’s any need to replace him in the first place!
Charlie Sheen has been fired from Two & A Half Men, but unlike American Idol changing judges successfully, replacing Charlie will be the biggest mistake of all time! Though Charlie said in one of his latest radio interviews he’d love to see Rob Lowe replace him, it is only because Charlie would still get paid, thanks to a well placed clause in his contract. If CBS wants the show to continue, then it’s time to make nice and finish the shows run with the people who made it into a monster hit in the first place.
The CSI: Miami star gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Pippa in early December.
Congratulations go out to Emily Procter and her boyfriend, musician Paul Bryan! The couple welcomed their first child together, a daughter Pippa, in early December. Can you believe that new mommy Emily is already back at work on the CSI:Miami set? We’re impressed.
He might have his hands full with 2-year-old twin boys, but Ricky Martin is ready to add to his family — he plans on adopting!
Ricky Martin is thinking about adding to his “modern family.” Two years ago, Ricky welcomed his twin boys, Matteo and Valentino, through a surrogate and they must have had a profound effect on him — because now he’s considering adoption! “Even though I started with surrogacy, adoption is probably my next step,” Ricky tells Extra. Would you like to see Ricky adopt a baby?
Sure, Dolly and Charlie look like sweet little girls, but Jerry and his wife, Rebecca Romijn, say that their two kids are more than a handful and they don’t even want to think about expanding their family!
Actor Jerry O’Connell, 36, is experiencing the worst of the terrible twos with his twin girls, Dolly Rebecca Rose and Charlie Tamara Tulip — and they haven’t even reached the magic age yet (they turn 2 on Dec. 28). They’re so out of control that Jerry and his wife Rebecca Romijn, 38, don’t want to have any more children!
American Idol‘s newest judge Jennifer Lopez stopped by The Talk (probably because she’s BFFs with co-host Leah Remini) to dish about the new Gucci ads featuring her twins — Max and Emme.
Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have been very careful about keeping their twins — Max and Emme — out of the spotlight. That’s why we were shocked to see Jennifer, 41, with her cute kiddies shooting a new ad campaign for Gucci back in July. But J. Lo revealed today on the new CBS show The Talk that her husband of six years, Marc Anthony, was against the idea of their 2½-year-old twins being photographed.
The Talk made its premiere on CBS this afternoon. We settled in to watch the ladies dish the dirt on motherhood and parenting, but were left disappointed.
CBS’ new hour-long chat show The Talk (which premiered today) is certainly not The View 2.0. Sure, the show starts with a lot of famous faces as hosts — Julie Chen, Leah Remini, Sharon Osbourne, Holly Robinson Peete and Sara Gilbert — sitting around a table (which is actually distracting because the table is a tad too high so it cuts their bodies off at an unflattering angle and seeing their legs below the table is equally distracting) but that’s where the similarities with Barbara Walters’ show end.
The star of the new CBS drama The Defenders has complained about his daughters before, but now they’re actually starting to terrify him!
Jerry O’Connell probably never thought being a parent would be quite so scary, but now that he and wife Rebecca Romijn, 37, have moved their 21-month-old twin girls, Dolly (pictured above) and Charlie, from cribs to beds, his life has gotten a lot more … dramatic. “They keep coming out of their beds and you’ll be sitting there, like you’ll be on the computer, and one will appear in back of you – and it scares the crap out of me,” the 36-year-old told OK! magazine. “They’re like baby ghosts standing in the middle of the house.”
Hey BFFs, did you give any money during the huge telethon?
Can we all take a minute to give George Clooney a huge round of applause? The star-studded Haitian relief telethon he put together, Hope For Haiti Now, was a huge success! More than $57 million was raised, according to telethon organizers, and that number just continues to climb as even more donations are pouring in. Lisa Paulsen, president and CEO of the Entertainment Industry Foundation, the group overseeing the event’s funds, released this statement: “The public has set a new standard of giving for a relief telethon with ‘Hope for Haiti Now,’ and the donations continue to come in.” Read more
Were you shocked by any SAG Award winners?
We weren’t! Aside from the incredible tribute to Betty White, The 2010 Screen Actors Guild Awards ceremony played out almost identically to last weekend’s Golden Globes. It was basically round two for repeat winners like Jeff Bridges, Sandra Bullock, Mo’Nique and Drew Barrymore — though at least Drew seemed considerably more flustered with her SAG acceptance speech than she was at the Globes. Click here to see all the winners!
So much Disney star power in one vehicle. We can’t handle it!
Aww, it looks like the Disney Channel family really is as close as they all seem on TV. After last night’s Hope For Haiti Now telethon, the Jonas Brothers were spotted pulling out of CBS Studios with Selena Gomez, 17, in tow. Joe Jonas, 20, took over driving duty, while Kevin Jonas, 22, called shotgun and Nick Jonas, 17, chilled in the backseat with Selena. Wait a second — weren’t Nick and Selena romantically linked in 2008? We guess Taylor Lautner isn’t the only one who gets along well with his ex-girlfriends. There’s an epidemic of friendship going around between young Hollywood exes — and we’re happy to see it catching on! Read more
