Jason Statham

Bio:
Jason Statham (born Sept. 12, 1967 in Derbyshire, England) is an English actor, producer, and martial artist. He started out modeling for French Connection, where he was introduced to British director, Guy Ritchie. In 1998, Ritchie cast him in the film “Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.” From there, Statham was cast roles in “Snatch”(2000), “Ghosts of Mars”(2001) and “The One”(2001). In 2002, he was given the lead role in the film, “The Transporter,” and also in the film’s two sequels. Since 2002, he has appeared in many films including, “Mean Machine”(2002), “The Italian Job”(2003), “Revolver”(2005), “Crank”(2006), “The Bank Job” (2008), “Death Race”(2008), and in “Crank: High Voltage”(2009). In 2010, he appeared in “The Expendables” alongside Sylvester Stallone, Jet Li, and Mickey Rourke. He also starred in the remake of the 1972 Charles Bronson flim, “The Mechanic”(2011). In 2012 ,he reprised his role as Lee Christmas in “The Expendables 2,” and starred in the film “Safe.”

Personal Life:
Statham was in a relationship with model Kelly Brook for seven years, until their split in 2004. He has also been linked to Bollywood stars such as Bipasha Basu. Since April 2010 he has been dating Victoria’s Secret model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley.
