Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Vs. Prince William & Kate Middleton’s PDA — Oh, to be royal lovebirds! The youngest royal couples are often compared but equally as cute. While Prince William and Kate Middleton have taken the traditional route, Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle have forged their own path. Big personal bombshells in their Netflix documentary and his book Spare made it clear the Sussexes aren’t afraid of a little controversy.

Harry and Meghan been big on the PDA since their start. Princess Diana’s youngest son began dating the Suits alum back in 2016, keeping their romance under wraps for several months before going public with an appearance at Toronto’s Invictus Games in Sept. 2017. Just a few months later, the pair confirmed their engagement at Kensington Palace, tying the knot for the world to see in April 2018! The couple welcomed their son Archie the following year. Ultimately, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex decided to step away from their roles as working senior royals — moving to California to focus on their own philanthrophic projects. They detailed the tension which cause them to step away from the crown in their 2022 tell-all Netflix documentary.

While William and Kate can be a bit more restrained, they’re still clearly smitten. Their storied romance began at the University of St. Andrew’s when they were both college students. The bombshell brunette reportedly caught the attention of the future King when she wore a sheer dress at a charity fashion show in 2002. The pair — especially Kate — were regularly photographed in the years that followed and after a brief split, reunited to eventually marry in April 2011. The couple have never been shy about their affection for each other, especially as they’ve welcomed their adorable three kids, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
