After a six-year marriage and a messy divorce, things are still, well, complicated for Tiger Woods and his gorgeous ex-wife, Elin Nordegren. The latest wrinkle? According to The National Enquirer, Elin is whisking the kids away on a two-week holiday to London and Sweden, leaving Tiger home alone! Is she being selfish by keeping the kids away from their father over the holidays?
Tiger Woods came back in full swing this weekend at the Chevron World Challenge — almost nabbing first place — but things aren’t getting any better off the greens. Apparently, Tiger, 34, is spending less and less time with his kids, Sam, 3, and Charlie, 1½, who are almost always with their mom, Elin Nordegren, 30.
Around this time last year, Elin Nordegren certainly wasn’t in the holiday spirit as she dealt with her then husband, Tiger Woods‘ devastating cheating scandal. It destroyed their six year marriage. This year, the 30-year-old former Swedish model has found some happiness and is celebrating the festive season with her adorable children Sam, 3 and Charlie, 1½! On Saturday the trio spent the afternoon celebrating the Swedish holiday, Saint Lucia’s Day at the First United Methodist Church in Boca Raton, Florida! “Elin and the children were dancing around the Christmas tree with other families and having such a wonderful time,” a source tells People magazine. “Elin had a look of contentment on her face.” That’s great!
The one-year anniversary of Tiger Woods‘ Thanksgiving car crash — that was followed by his infidelity scandal and highly publicized divorce from Elin Nordegren — is a just few days away and he plans on spending it with his children, Sam, 3, and Charlie, 1½. “The kids and his mom will join him for Thanksgiving,” an insider tells Us magazine. Now, we already know that Tiger, 34, can whip up some macaroni and cheese, but can he prepare an entire Thanksgiving meal — turkey and all? We’re assuming Grandma, Kultida Woods, will be taking on that job!
After what seemed to be a never-ending scandal with his ex-wife, Elin Nordegren, golf champ Tiger Woods, 34, has finally realized that the little things in life are what makes it worth living — like spending time with his two kids Sam, 3, and Charlie, 1½. “Giving my son, Charlie, a bath, for example, beats chipping another bucket of balls,” Tiger says in an article he has written on Newsweek.com. “Making mac and cheese for him and his sister, Sam, is better than dining in any restaurant. Sharing a laugh watching cartoons or reading a book beats channel-surfing alone.” Wow, Tiger seems to be making a real effort to be a better dad and spend quality time with his kids!
Since receiving a $110 million divorce settlement from Tiger Woods in August, Swedish-born beauty Elin Nordegren is ready to move forward with her life, and that includes having more kids. “Even at 30, she knows her biological clock is ticking, but she’s convinced there is a bright future ahead — without cheating Tiger around,” an insider tells the National Enquirer.
