Bio: Malia Obama (born Malia Ann Obama on July 4, 1998) is the eldest daughter of President Barack Obama and First Lady, Michelle Obama. Malia currently attends the private Sidwell Friends School in Washington, D.C., after enrolling on January 5, 2009. Malia is involved in soccer, dance and drama. Before their move to The White House, Malia and sister, Sasha Obama, attended the private University of Chicago Laboratory School. Malia is allergic to animal dander, so choosing a dog for The White House proved to be difficult. On April 12, 2009, the Obamas adopted a Portuguese Water Dog, who was named Bo by Malia and Sasha.
