Bio:
Leah Messer-Calvert (born Leah Messer in Elkview, West Virginia on April 24, 1992) is an American TV personality who starred on MTV’s Teen Mom 2. Leah shot to fame after appearing on 16 & Pregnant, and she has sparked controversy by being twice married with three kids by the time she turned 20. Leah is currently taking college classes and training to be a life coach.

Leah Messer is best known for being on MTV’s 16 & Pregnant and Teen Mom 2.

Personal Life:
Leah became pregnant when she was 16-years-old, and her pregnancy was documented by MTV. She and her boyfriend Corey Simms welcomed twin girls called Aliannah and Aleeah on Dec. 16 2009. They got married after a whirlwind proposal, but divorced in April 2011. Leah went on to marry Jeremy Calvert in April 2012, and they had their first baby, Adalynn Faith, on Feb. 4 2013. It wasn’t until 2014 that Aliannah was diagnosed with a form of muscular dystrophy. This was the same year that Jeremy moved out and Leah went to rehab for a prescription pill addiction. They officially filed for divorce when she was out, and since then Leah and Jeremy have been co-parenting. They admitted to hooking up, but have finally ended things for good.

In a sneak peek of the Feb. 4 episode of ‘Teen Mom 2,’ we see Leah Messer, 21, receive her daughter Aliannah’s tragic diagnosis of congenital muscular dystrophy and what that will mean for little Aliannah.
Teen Mom 2 star Leah Messer has already spoken out about the diagnosis, both on the season 5 premiere of Teen Mom 2 on Jan. 21 and in an interview with InTouch where she opened up to the mag, telling them that they were “scared” because they “didn’t know what [Aliannah’s] future would hold.” So sad. However, in this sneak peek of tonight’s Feb. 4 episode, we see the doctor tell Leah’s ex and Ali’s father, Corey Simms that Aliannah will definitively need to be in a wheelchair.
